Ex-Hippie,

Seriously though, I'm happy for Shawn. At least he hasn't given up, good for him!

He's only 38. Jordan was playing at like 41 in the NBA. Kemp's one of the greatest big man to ever live... I'm sure he'll tear up those Euros.

Today Kemp had his first training session with the new team Sutor Montegranaro (a small city of Marche region, the smallest one of the entire italian A1 league) .

His physical shape seems very good

You have to remember the difference between Kemp and Jordan though. Jordan was arguably the most competitive player in history, and had an amazing work ethic. He kept himself in amazing shape as he was constantly driven to be the best. We have seen over the years that Kemp certainly doesn't have that same level of motivation. Don't think I'm just a hater either -- Kemp is one of my all time favorite players. However just because Jordan could do it doesn't mean everyone can.

^I wouldn't put too much stock into what "Saul" says. His only purpose on these boards is to try and get a rise out of us. He has some personal vendetta against us and has been trying to take us down since the team left town.

His current s/n is "shrunk." He's been waived about five times under different names. He literally has no life.

Thanks for the heads up. You'd think that people could find something better to do after getting waived from these boards, but I guess some people just can't let go.

Yeah, I read about that too a few days ago, that's sad.

It's a shame..I know he's old and will never be the way he once was, it just would have been nice to get to see how he played.
