How did so many teams miss the boat on Siakam?

So many teams missed out.

Warriors - Curry/Siakam/Dray/Klay

Kings - Fox/Siakam/Sabonis

Cavs - Mitchell/Garland/Siakam/Allen

The reason none of the options above happened is because of the financial impact of adding Siakam. So few teams were willing to take on that financial commitment with Siakam, that Indy could, because they only have to pay Hali next season. Impact of the new CBA at play.

OG is kinda always a little non-involved in the offense but even on the raptors....i don't remember it being to THIS degree. They don't even let him touch the ball in swinging the perimeter.

Is it possible OG is angry at this role? Given his comments while playing for the raptors.....he can't be happy about it. It would be hilarious if he demands out. It's not like he has a bad matchup with Tobias Harris.

They are really missing IQ and Barrett just to have other options that can create and dribble the ball. But maybe they're being a little restrictive on allowing players other than Brunson to touch the ball.

The Dame move was out of desperation. I thought Giannis' next move would have been to demand a trade, but if his injury is really serious (possibly achilles), then is he just sitting for a year?
