I personally am going to take a wait and see approach but I have my concerns about the pairing...especially if Casey throws them in with James Johnson who's also volatile offensively.

Let's take a look at how Lou's teams has fared (offensive rating) when Lou has played with other PG's

13-14 with Teague - 107.2 (Hawks overall 103.4)
12-13 with Teague - 104 (Hawks overall 102.7)
11-12 with Holliday - 110 (Sixers overall 101.7)
10-11 with Holliday - 110 (Sixers overall 104)

So sure seems like offenses have been running damn smoothly when Lou has shared the floor with other PG's.

Yeah but those PG's passed more. GV wasnt really a passing guy much, in fact he was the shot taker just like Lou. If either of them cannot start moving the ball better they will clash just like DD and Gay clashed.

Yeah, that's not really true. At all. Especially Holliday during those years.

Is the OP serious. ? Lmao unbelievable.
On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."

people seem to forget vasquez took awhile to get acclimated with the team.

Holiday in 2010-2011 ast ratio was 28,9 ast . In 2011-2012 - 22.1 ast.
Teague in 2012-2013 ast ratio was 30,8. In 2013-2014 - 26.9
GV in 2013-2014 after the trade - ast ratio 26.2.

So yeah while you are right about 2011-2012 Holiday in all other three seasons Lou was playing with a bit more willing passer.

Lou is Iverson, but is a way better off the dribble stop and shoot type baller, he can even provide us with threes. GV should stick to assisting the bigs only and let Lou take care of scoring, every now and then vasquez can surprise us with a confident three point but I think I rather have a guy who is a natural scoring threat than team play with the second unit

GV lead the league in assists while being the other guard with Holiday.... he must be a reallllly good passer if he can do that while not being much of a "passing guy".

Hahaha. They didn't play together, Holiday was their upgrade from GV.

Although I do agree with everyone about GV being as much a passer as Teague and Holiday. The reason GVs assist% was lower is because of how much time he played with Lowry. When GV is out there with him his role is more of a shooter, when GV is the PG he's more of a facilitator, which he would be playing with Lou.

That's hardly the only way to measure willingness to pass. And those numbers are pretty damn close. Definitely in the same ballpark.

So there's yet to be any evidence presented that shows Lou is unlikely to fit in next to GV or that pairing will result in poor offense.

Fair enough. Though I never I said that I have an evidence. Just that their styles to me seems to clash just like Gay's and DD's did. Is it really true or not it remains to be seen in the next season.

The only evidence is how poorly he's played so far. Small sample, but evidence nonetheless.

Stay strong, OP. They're really a great group of guys and girls once you get to know them.

May want to shift some views on Lou Williams though.

People said the same thing about Jamal Crawford but when you need a guy who hits shots when you need to make a big run, players with this playing style can give you that jolt. But I'm not even surprised to see a thread like this, if you don't have enough alpha minded takers who can create on their own your team won't win as much games as they can. Lou Williams compliments the structure of this team perfectly and his signing may go on to be the bargain pickup of the year, considering all you have up was Salmons and a 2nd round draft pick.
