We'd just have to rely more on Weems, Wright, Banks, and Evans, which is definitely a scary thought...

But to get Wade?

Do it.

They definitely wouldn't take Calderon or Hedo. Jack's got a reasonable enough contract and they need PG help.

Am I the only one who hopes Miami fans start squirming? Karma for all the garbage Bosh trades they were throwing at us... Hopefully they have S&T away

All I'm going to say is IF Wade is available, you've got to go after him. Bosh + Wade and virtually anyone else would be a great team.

I think wade is just trying to put pressure on management to improve the team. Hopefully though we'll see a sign and trade or better yet hope he signs with another team.

Sign and trade is still an option.

If any of the big 3 FA's leave it'll be in a sign and trade imo. All that cap space, and 2010 talk for the Knicks, Nets, Pistons etc... doesn't make a lot of sense

Also you have to wonder how good Miami would even be next year if they did get Amare. J.O's been pretty good as their 2nd best player this year, and they're going to loose him. That kinda takes away a bit from any improvment they'de get from a FA imo. They're going to need more of a net improvment on a <.500 team to really get excited about the possibi;ities of the Heat.

Riley will make changes next year, and its hard to know what they will be. But there is a reason Riley can play hardball with Wade and its working because he knows Wade ain't leaving 30 mill on the table. Even in a SnT, Wade still needs Riley ... Wade situation ain't like Lebron or Bosh, where he can recoup that money later, this is his last contract and in 3-4 years he likely won't be worth the max anymore.

What was the name of that Tennis guy that was teasing us on Twitter? I can't remember his name because he's a crappy Tennis player but can someone post his Twitter so we can all spam his twitter with that story.

If he wants to "win now", by joining another team with an A list baller, then I guess he is not as great as he is billed to be.

If you are the man, you do it yourself and let people join you. And this guy was the MVP of the Finals one year?!?

Would Kobe ever say; "I want to play with LeBron so I can win a ring now"?

No, because Kobe is a competitive beast.

I dont understand your logic. Kobe needed Gasol, Odom and Bynum to win his ring. He bitched and wanted to leave because he wasnt getting any help. No one can win without help.

Some people are quick to forget. Kobe wanted out of Lala land not too long ago after a losing season. MJ was also critical of his GM and some of the moves he made.

Yeah, I think he sees LeBron, who got Shaq and Parker and are trying for Jamison or Murphy, all from the impending threat of LeBron leaving. He saw Bosh get Hedo and Jack and a total overhaul with tons of committed salary all to try and build and prove to Bosh he should stay and he sees MIA sitting on their thumbs asking him to wait for next year and he sees their record dropping. So either he or someone close decided it's time for flexing a little muscle to see if he can get some pieces sooner rather than later 'cause the writings on the wall that LeBron, Wade, and Bosh will all stay put because leaving costs them 30 million dollars.

I'll believe Wade is seriously considering leaving MIA the moment I see CHI move Deng for an expiring contract. If that happens I'll bet the house Wade is out the door (well I won't bet the house. I don't even own a house).

That's our best offer Miami.

could you imagine a starting 5 of

Bosh-Bargnani-Turk
Wade-Calderon

I don't care what anyone says, that instantly makes the Raps not only championship favourites, but a dynasty potential team. I shiver just at the thought of it...
