Bigger story is Bucks losing again. First Wizards, then Grizzlies.
FIRE DOC.

If only Portland didn't blatantly tank with us we could have had a legit shot at top 5 odds. Not to mention Masai agreeing to a top 6 protection in the first place for a pending free agent role player. Might as well have made it unprotected while he was at it.
If only our FO tanked in the off season like they should have.

I think what you meant to say was :If only our FO tanked in the off season like they should have.

Convince yourself that a team with a healthy Barnes is as bad as Portland.
Regardless if we get the pick or convey it, I just want this season to be over with so the will it/won't it scenarios will go away.
If nothing else i'd rather keep the pick because at the very least, a young player has trade value for a future trade.

Before Scottie went down, we had a winning percentage than when we had Siakam and OG.
Scottie has missed 15 games all season.
RJ has missed 15 games since coming here.
IQ has missed 10 games since coming here.
We are THREE games back from portland. Yes, I absolutely know, that if we had the BBQ lineup all year we would have a worse record than portland with rest games/injury games thrown in.
As of Jan 17th when Siakam was traded, we were 16-25, portland was 11-29. We were trying to win, they were outright tanking. We would without a shadow of a doubt, been able to catch them.
Actually if we read this board, wouldn't you say Siakam is underrated? Who here has ever said they wanted to supermax him? Not the tankers or anti tankers. Literally no one.TorontoBarneys wrote:Scase wrote:Vampirate wrote:

Siakam is massively overrated but we're not ready to have that conversation just yet on this board. At least for a few years.

I bet Giannis regrets re-signing with them now.

Giannis deserves his share of blame for picking Griffin over Nurse.
Even if you hate Nurse 2 years later, what matters is the now.
