The most you could have been off is two picks if you are banking on the pick conveying this year.

Reed Sheppard would benefit the most from playing with Wemby. Can still be super aggressive and gamble on defense with Wemby to protect rim. Also won't have to create as much on offense and can just focus on hitting the open looks he'll get from playing with Wemby.

In a supposed weak at the top but wide open at the bottom type of draft, we should be able to find some rotation players that fill some holes at least at 19 and 31. Good chance we we can get a back up pg at least and maybe a young mobile big.

I would say that Charlotte would be good spots for Reed and Dillingham to play along side Lamelo.

Carrington and Chomche. Carrington seems to at least be a more dynamic Delon Wright who is still in the league.

But back to this draft I know that I like Devin Carter, Jaylon Tyson and DaRon Holmes. Will need to look at others and make a list of my top 5-6 prospects for either pick.

Devin Carter is a SG/PG that is turning 23 this coming season. I guess at best he's a mini Jalen Williams? He won't be there at 19 but still if the coin toss had us at #16, what makes him a better choice than Carrington?

Carrington is turning 19 this season. A/T over 2. Similar height and wingspan. He does get more deflections, but Carrington could develop that part of his defensive game over the next few years. Carrington is slightly taller but then makes it passable to play beside IQ, whereas Carter might just end up being a Lillard/McCollum pairing.

Still have to look at the film on Carrington but he's on my radar though.

I love Sheppard in Houston so I didn't even entertain that.

Offensively with Sengun as the creator would probably be an even better fit, but defensively might struggle.

I just like the idea of him as an FVV understudy and also balancing out their roster given how many athletic guys w/ advantage creation ability and potential they have. They just need an outlet who can bury their opponents and Reed can be that guy while learning and observing from Fred how to thrive as an undersized G. Also like the potential for screening action with Sengun.

Of course the fit in SA is great too but Houston picks 3rd and doesn't need Clingan and has a bunch of athletic wings already.

Sheppard looks small in height n stature. He's gonna struggle untill he gets bigger a yr or two. Podz from last yr looked stronger.

Similar to gradey but atleast he's 6'7

Instead of re-signing Trent, I wouldn't be surprised if the Raps use that money instead on Tyus Jones.

MY target - DINK PATE - he's trying to get a waiver to enter this draft according to Rafael Barlow.

Dick & Dink needs to happen. If not (the NBA won't let Pate enter) I think they take Tyler Smith & then draft Chomche with DET pick. I'm praying Pate is in this draft. But I could see our FO loving Tyler's shooting next to Scottie and although he's not a strong defender he at least has the physical tools to be a better one. I just like the look of Pate's upside to create off the dribble more. I also just don't see Masai passing on Chomche, he's a Masai pick if there ever was one.

Thought the same way. That's just a great fit & long term replacement/upgrade for Fred.

If the NBA allows him to enter - Dink Pate is THE guy imo. Although I think someone would likely snatch him up before us.

Why you would care about what the media guys say? They should have said these WHEN Masai traded for Poeltl. They are 1.5 seasons too late and now being Captain Obvious...
