This pretty much sums it up, especially for all the dudes in the NBA that aren't 6'9". They all have an insane belief in themselves.

It's also why you want vets at the end of the bench that know they won't get mins. If you have 15 guys expecting mins you are gonna have major issues in the locker room.

Looks like a Fred clone hitting those well outside the line "big boy" shots. I thought Summer league was a showcase and garbage friendly to create familiarity with players on a list and/or be a place agents use to get their clients a look. I think he’s gonna be a nice change of pace playmaker off the bench who can hopefully hit shots and surprise at the basket.

Nothing wrong with having goals and ambitions, this guy is 5'8, he would not have made it to the league had he not have this extreme self confidence.

Minor nitpick - in an interview at SL when asked about his height, he said "I am comfortable saying 5 foot 7".

Idc what people think, but my minimum expectation of any Raptor (starter, bench or towel waver) is future hall of famer. So for Nowell, I expect him to be a prime Jordan plus Curry mix. By this season.
