There's a reason they didn't move Hield + Brown. Buddy can be paired up with some other draft capital or a young player so we can get mad at how much more a different got than we did.

I think Kuzma would be a good get for them if they are shopping but they might need a 3rd team to give up that second pick the Wizards want for him.

The next few Pacers games look tough

Suns (tonight) L
Nuggets L
Sixers L
Suns L
Grizz W
Celtics L
Knicks L
Kings L

If Haliburton is out for a minute our pick could get really interesting.

Seriously who could the pacers target with a big package?

Maybe Dejounte Murray? Extension doesn't kick in so he can be matched with Hield + picks.

Murray doesn't fit with Hali - Pacers have enough guards who need ball in their hands. What the Pacers need is OG - too bad they cheaped out and let the Knicks overbid for OG

I'd like Pascal to average 30 but for the pacers to lose most games.

Pacers are at 105mill next yr without Pascal Heild, & including an expiring Turner & Ben Mat extension after that.

Hield is a pretty damn good fit on the team but we'll see

Heard they inquired about Lauri Markkanen. They need a SF and can easily acquire that with the assets they didn’t give us for Siakam

They're going to be paying Hali and Siakam 80 million next year. Not sure if they can even add another huge contract.

Due to the new cap rules, most teams are only going to have 2 max deals going forward.

Good thing they don't have to sign pascal if they don't want to. Since they essentially gave up nothing to get him.

The Pacers pick is top 3 protected this year.

The 2026 pick is top 4 protected.

The Pacers 2024 pick could be interesting. It's currently #16 and they might need to go through the play-in just to make the playoffs unless they pass one of MIA/NYK. My guess is that ends up in the mid to high teens.

The amount of energy Pascal have to exert to score 30 on offense means he's gonna be dragging himself around on defense. Siakam's game involves a lot of driving to the rim, spin moves, etc. he's not a catch and shoot player (3&D) to sustain on both sides of the court.

didn't he play against Portland?
I don't think they are going to fall too far. The only teams behind them are the Magic and the Mediocre Foursome (Hawks, Bulls, Nets and Raptors). Maybe the Magic overtake them but that's really about it.

Return to Toronto Raptors
