Jamal Murray, MPJ and Aaron Gordon aren't anything close to star players. It's Jokic and a bunch of role players.

Special defence that was displayed tonight. I hope the refs allow Minny to play that kind of defence again in game 7 opposed to the ticky tac calls they got from game 3-5.

I guess Masai thought Jalen McDaniels couldn't be THAT much worse than his brother Jaden (21 points on 10 shots tonight), if given a chance. Just like Jontay Porter couldn't be THAT much worse than his brother MPJ (not a great night, but still).

And maybe they aren't that different, in terms of talent. It's more a matter of BB intelligence and character. I'm surprised we didn't suss that out earlier.

The western series going to game 7 apparently helps the Knicks. IF they beat Indy tomorrow they don't play Boston till Tuesday. If Denver had won they would have played Boston game 1 Sunday. Could help with OGs recovery. Have to win tomorrow though.

I would really love to see a healthier Knicks squad face the Celtics, especially OG. Here's hoping we aren't denied that

Yeah losing to a desperate home team is one thing. But 70 points? Has a defending champ ever scored so low in a playoff game in the 3 point era?

I recall the Jazz having a very low score in one of their Finals games vs Bulls. In the 60s maybe? Guess I could look it up but too lazy.

It’s the referees.

Some let teams defend with a very physical approach, other referee crews have a very quick whistle.

The first 2 games had the same ref crew from last night. The ones that the Nuggets won in had a different one.

When you’re a defensive minded team, your chances of winning are more reliant on the refs not being soft as hell.
