Raps need perimeter shooting not someone who can get to the basket

Looks like Rudy Gay might be a Raptor. There is no way we keep the pick now. BC's job is on the line. I will rage if its for some over the hill guy

Ryan Wolstat ‏@WolstatSun
It's early, but my first mock draft has Lamb and the Raptors even though I know some in org have concerns about his motor

Ryan Wolstat ‏@WolstatSun
Barring a trade I think Lamb, Lillard and maybe even Waiters will be likely targets (assuming nobody drops)

Im really ancious to see the combine measurments. If Waiters tests out to be a very good athlete and at least 6'4 then he might be my pick at 8 if no one drops. But i have alot of question marks on athletism. Im wondering how athletic MKG,Barnes, Beal, P.Jones are.

Lamb is what most people want on this board and I'd take him if he's the BPA, but the only other team ahead of us that could take Lamb is Portland. They lost Roy and have a big void at SG, would not surprise me if they take him.

We know we have a top rookie... we need to add some real talent around him, Bargs, and DeRozan... the pick will be dealt on draft night, mark my words.

Gay, Iggy, Lowry, J Smooth, or Granger will be Raptor. We will trade the pick... book it.

I agree. Definitely think the pick will be dealt.

If its possible to get Rudy Gay then by all means trade the pick and anybody but Derozan and JV. I doubt Memphis would accept though. I dont think the raps should trade but the pick but if they can get somebody like Gay then you make the trade. Amnesty Jose and sign Nash or Dragic.

Lowry is a player i wouldnt mind the raptors trading for too. As long as it doesnt cost us our pick and DD or JV. Those are probably the only scenarios where i would trade the pick. Boston aint trading Rondo...

If that's the case we should just officially change our name to the Toronto Treadmills.

Lamb's going in the teens.

You were dead right calling Val last year but Lamb is too skilled to go in the teens.

Lmao Lamb won't fall to the teens. No need to worry about that. He'll be a Raptor

Austin Rivers will be better than Lamb, Beal and Waiters. Rivers has "it".

BC would be a really smart gm if he could trade the 8th pick and get us a quality player. Then trade our second round picks and move up into the first round. Id love to get Rudy Gay and Tony Wroten on draft night. Go into the offseason with JV, Gay and Wroten. Who knows maybe BC signs a FA too after he amnesties Jose. All wishfull thinking on my part.

Maybe instead of like laughing at anyone who ever says anything bad about Lamb you would actually acknowledge his weaknesses instead. But Rivers > Beal is a joke

If not Lamb I'd take Lillard with the 8th pick

I've already acknowledged what his weaknesses are if you followed the draft thread since the beginning. Lamb is almost flawless offensively whether you agree or not which is fact, but he still needs some work defensively. He's got the physical and athletic tools, just needs to play with more consistent effort which I can see under Casey. A fool would actually believe Rivers is better than Lamb.
