I said potentially, I was not that definitive. However, I have never heard someone say this, let alone a undrafted 5'7 point guard. Players do not make these kind of comments because they know how disrespectful it is to their colleagues, especially those that have won championships and change the culture of basketball in this country. All players know this, except Nowell apparently. This alone is cause for concern.

The thing is he is so far removed from being relevant now whatever he says probably doesn't affect the team. If anything it just displays a lack of of awareness on his part and maybe some tendency to writing cheques that cannot be cashed.

If he can be a consistent 3 pt shooter he will make the league. Not sure that will happen given his size. Tough to get your shot off when you're that small. Wish him the best.

Appreciate the sentiment but i live in BC now. Everyone I know is out now with a couple exceptions (by choice).

This kind of declaration would usually be something I'd consider admirable, but not in this situation. Using summer league results as a determinant or predictor of regular season nba success is pretty flawed idea, though no? There's been some great looking summer league players who are unrosterable in the nba regular season.
