I agree. Simply stereotype. He's also a decent athlete.

The guy grew up around basketball and has decent length .. just need to work on that girth 8-)

Dick with 10-15lbs of added girth over the summer is going to be nuts!

Dick can replace Trent in the starting lineup next season if we lose our pick or we don't draft a SF/SG. He is already a much better complementary player than Gary is.

This offense will run through Dick soon enough.

We got ourselves a keeper, not going to lie, I was sweating buckets because of his struggles in the first few months of the season lol

If he can improve his handle even a little bit (so he can make opponents pay when they play way up on him and run him off the line), he's gonna be extremely tough for teams to deal with. The shot and basketball IQ is very much there.

Gradey was very impressive this game. Just a fantastic all around effort from him tonight.

He'll never be a lockdown defender, and he made some glaring mistakes tonight, but I don't think he's going to be a liability at all once he gets some experience, and he has the smarts and athleticism to be a bit of a playmaker on that end. That steal he had on the attempted KCP pass into Jokic in the post is already one of my favourite plays from him all year. Amazing anticipation, a quick jump, and even better hands.

Where does Gradey go in a re-draft? 5-7? What a steal by Masai.

Dick needs to be a starter next season regardless of what happens with our pick. He's earned it.

He was taking great shots and even though he was missing most of them he still didn't hesitate and shot with confidence. The passing touch and feel for the game was their right out of the gate. I always felt that he had this (and more) in him.

If Gradey is passing like this now, and with all our injuries, I can see Dick getting a triple double by the end of the season. Ben Uzoh style.

When can we start talking about Dick having more than just starter potential? At 19/20, he already has so many refined skills that very few guys at his age or experience level possess. A lot of guys his age are just scorers, or just passers, or just defenders, or just shooters, while he can impact the game in so many ways.

He has such gravity and calmness to his game. Defenders will run out to him to contest his shot and he just takes a calm dribble and step and nail a jumper or find the open man.

He should be the starting SG next year.

Dick and Scottie compliment each other so well.

night and day compared to Trent jr. lol he makes the right play almost all the time and never takes a bad shot. he looks for his teammates and makes the smart passes for the best shot. if you want a comparison of Masai's vision vs what he wants to get rid of (e.g. selfishness), look no further than comparing the player profiles of Dick and Trent. he's becoming my favourite player mostly because he's so smart. he has his mom's beautiful basketball mind.

Gradey has elite awareness on the court and is already making elite decision making at 20 years old. Makes total sense that he was a point guard growing up. Does he have all star potential? Absolutely. Once his body matures and he advances his PnR game, he will be dangerous
