I do. We're keeping our draft pick this year in a bottom 3 draft of the century and missing out on a great draft next year. Is nobody else here really following what's going on? Jeez

People wanted to tank when the generational player was available and we actually had our pick. Not in one of the worst drafts of all time when we don't control our own pick. Franchise has been ass backwards for 4 years now lol.

4 years? How so? We tanked the Tampa year and got Barnes. The next year we won 47 games and looked to be ascending. You can complain from last season onwards but it hasn't been 4 years.

You're all over the place man, help us understand your argument. Was your preference that they try and win this year, convey the pick, and tank next year? If so, what should they have done differently? Re-signed Siakam? Kept OG? Keep Barnes' hand from breaking?

Honestly it's more about the process than results. Obviously in hindsight we can say we wouldn't have gotten Wemby but to go forward with such a crappy team last year was extremely delusional. That's where most of the anger from raptor fans comes from and its set us back a few years.

I'm just hoping we don't lose our draft pick this year and pretty much run back a similar squad next year. I always trust masai to draft a stud and most raptor fans need that type of hope inserted onto the team next year.

Yes. We should have given up our pick this year and kept it for next year. Is it really that difficult to understand the logic behind that? This draft sucks and next year's looks amazing on paper. I'd rather have let Siakam walk for nothing at the end of the year. We got nothing for him and he would have helped us stay out of the bottom 6. I was fine with the Og trade.
