Raptors Insider News

Post#1 » by TR_insider_guy7 » Sun May 30, 2010 2:01 pm

Hey guys, its me again, I ususally post as "raptorgenius7" but i forgot my password for that account because i only post when I have insider news for my realgm fam. Bryan feels the pressure guys, he's constantly working the phone for deals, and talking with agents. I do know of a couple deals that Bryan has on the table and let me just say this, the deals that Bryan has up his sleeve will easily convince Chris to stay. I cant get to any details ( and im not trying to tease you all but i just dont want you all to give up on bryan just yet and we will be a better ball club in the next couple weeks) but i do expect one of the trade talks to leak some time this week ( this trade talk im referring to started late last week and will pick up steam after this weekend) so make sure you all keep logging on realgm. Also, Bryan is so intrigued with his "life after bosh" plan that he no longer cares if Chris stays or not. Oh and some more stuff, Bryan isnt focusing too much on the draft....if you catch my drift. Guys, June is going to be one busy month as Bryan is trying to pull off at least one of these deals before draft. My realgm family dont give up just yet, Bryan is still alive! Take care guys!

No one's going to be giving BC any slack especially if he is trading the draft pick. The NBA Draft is like the NBA Finals for Raptors fans.

This post just reminded me when I was 5 and I saw the commercial for the G.I Joe Base on TV and being pumped to get it for Christmas.....only to realize it was available at Toys R Us exclusively, which weren't in Canada.

Details?

Something I don't get with the OP's post...

There are deals that will convince Bosh to stay BUT at the same time Colangelo is intrigued by life after Bosh and doesn't care if he stays or not?

Guys, this guy has a legit source and I fully believe what he says is true. BC will redeem himself and we will be in position to compete in the playoffs next year! I can feel it!
Props to TZ for the sig:

Also funny was that Bryan is feeling the pressure AND excited about life after Bosh.

But bogus news is better than no news, I guess.

"Not focussing on the draft" doesn't mean we're not getting a pick. Maybe he has other people focussing on the draft for him instead while he works on the trade front. Or maybe he's working on a trade that will get us one of the top 3 picks. If he had a top 3 pick then he wouldn't really have to worry about it now would he?

This seems to go in concordance with Doug Smith's blog "Fasten your belts". So I guess it doesn't hurt to believe. On the other hand, I wouldn't be upset if it didn't come to fruition. Too many posters on this board feel as if every poster who claims to be an 'insider' is making up gibberish. The fact that the OP just gave us insight (whether true or not) is interesting, and this thread will reach 5+ pages.

So Colangelo is trading the pick in order to keep/trade Bosh.

I still have faith in Colangelo he's not one to sit and do nothing. He'll be looking to add an impact player.

I've been monitoring potential draft candidates for months now! I would be really pissed if it ended up being for nothing. We need to build in a multitude of ways the draft is definitely one especially in a year where we weren't supposed to have a pick.

The only thing that makes this work imo is we somehow get Bosh to stay and we add Arenas and SF. I somehow doubt that will happen though
