Jonas Valanciunas = Andris Biedrins 2.0

Jan Vesely = Danilo Gallinari 2.0

no thanks, I would much rather look at Walker/Knight than these 2.

P.S. Jan Vesley is almost the opposite of Gallinari.

I don't like the idea of drafting either Knight or Walker but I'd rather choose them over any of these to guys.

I don't understand why there are so many Val haters. Most European scouts absolutely love the kid.

edit: nvm ya I do, he's a Euro

Vesely and Gallo are complete opposite prospects for the record. Vesely is a run and leap athlete with absolutely 0 jumpshot or on ball ability. Vesely is the Euro Kawhi Leonard. I'd prefer Leonard. He's stronger and more physically fit to guard SFs, he's younger and has been flashing a jumper in workouts, and I'll admit it, all things equal I'll take the guy who's played in a North American game his entire life

But my concern with both of them is you're aiming low and giving up by going for a defender/role player only. I'd rather try and get a star here.

They'll be gone before Toronto picks.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Did you just compare Vasely to Gallinari? That's like comparing Bargnani to Ben Wallace.

I think Jonas V is intruiging.
Vasely, if he can actually play the 3 could be good.

Jonas is meh, but I want nothing to do with Jan. I want either Kanter to drop or settle with Knight.

vasely looks to be uber athletic. i think he can a good part of a rotation that plays pressure defense and likes to push the ball. don't know how *good* he can be but he can be a rotation guy.

but he's clearly behind kanter, wright and walker on the depth chart.

Listen to Colangelo's interview on the Fan 590 today. He talks about the draft and goes that there are some good PGs in Brandon Knight and Kemba Walker, who more than likely will go after the top 2 and then he names some players and discusses Vesely in a bit more detail saying how he "would fill a need at the 3/4 spot"

There's a need at the 4 spot? PF is our most stacked position.
