Re: Raptors' season-ending interviews (Today: Players)
Few more updates c/o Eric Smith (twitter.com/eric_smith):
Bargnani - "We can't be enthusiastic about not making the playoffs." .......but he adds that the #Raptors are on the right path w/ Casey
Bargnani: "I played much better defence and I got better on offence." (Assessing his year in spite of his injuries)
Bargnani: says the team needs "experience" ... and says they have to learn from "losing so many close games"

I can't believe these aren't being shown live on Raptors TV actually maybe I can
considering how poorly that channel aka NBA TV Canda is run these days.

I doubt that anything will beat last year's " I do things more important than defense and rebounding."

Re: Raptors' season-ending interviews (Today: Players)
"I took my consequences like a man." - James Johnson on late-season altercation with Casey
Jay Satur @jaysatur
J. Johnson on prior altercation w/ Dwane Casey: "I believe it was done after it happened. We talked. That was that."
Seems like they're really speeding through these things.

Re: Raptors' season-ending interviews (Today: Players)
Why is this even being done today? They have one more game to play.
I thought the player interviews would be done the same day as Bryan's presser on Friday.

I hope someone asks a question like "The fans are ok with you losing tonight...I just felt you should know that...?".
Then just kind of wander off.

In the greatest tank move of all time, we're sending everyone home a day early and forfeiting the game. Take that, Mark Madsen shooting 3's.

My guess is the players want to get the hell out of dodge. Or perhaps BC is hoping that conducting the season-ending interviews before the season actually ends will send a subtle subliminal message to the players to not give their all tonight.
Let's hope they at least miss their afternoon nap and come to the ACC in no shape to play.

^There's a concert or something tomorrow that's taking up the ACC rooms, I believe. I like your reasons better though.

This organization can't do anything right to doing these properly, to wearing tank jerseys,
to running a tv channel, to having goofy 3D graphics on the court, bad intro music, annoying
announcers etc etc

Yup, it has something to do with a concert messing up the timing.

Thanks, man. Me too.
Eric Koreen @ekoreen
Bayless said he thinks he's proved he's a better starter than reserve.
You sure have, Bayless. To your own detriment.
Oh, and:
Eric Koreen @ekoreen
Bayless says he's going to be in Toronto a lot this off-season. Read into that what you will.

Bayless will likely be looking to see what the Raps do this offseason.
If they make a big free agent pickup a la Nash, he will likely look to sign elsewhere.
If he looks to be the incumbent backup, he will probably sign the one year QO.

Another big summer... Hopefully now without the lock out someone within the organization gets him doing the right things.
Those pick up games last summer did nothing for his game.
