You trot dudes like Kleiza out there for significant minutes, you're just asking to be on the wrong end of a highlight reel.

I know Basketball IQ counts and physicality isn't everything, but it's a pretty damn big part of the NBA.

I mean, honestly, what's the difference in fitness levels between Kleiza and some dude in the stands who drinks beer and works out his club muscles a couple times a week?

Muscle definition comes from a training program that is conducive to it. That sort of training program will also be conducive to other things that help in basketball like upper body strength and explosiveness. But if your training program focuses mainly on things like endurance, core strength, agility and other such things that are more beneficial for basketball, you won't look anything like a muscle beach type of person.

Well, Kleiza is not ripped. He is pretty strong, muscular and all, but that body could be tighter. Turbozone is kinda harsh, because he is lean ripped guy OLY's Kleiza on the other hand seemed to work just on his weight and its kinda backfired now when hes playing SF again... Although he can work it out, turn those extra pounds into something useful, I think it always easier to gain muscle mass when you have some fat first.

I'd want him back if only for the reason that almost every time he stepped on the floor last season a fight almost broke out. He really seems to get under the skin of whoever he's guarding without ending up in too much foul trouble.

I'm tired of the Raptors being a team that's just pitied and mocked. I'd much rather us have a team that other fan bases hate and Kleiza did a pretty good job of that last season.

Kleiza is a man! Knocking down 28 points against Venezuela and 22 against Nigeria and most people were saying here - there's nothing left from him after injury. No way! He lost some quickness and some athelticism, but he's still strong, still big and still deadly from downtown.

He's not getting any worse in decision making also. I think he might be 12 points per game player in raptors next year and that's good, IMO.

He is not getting worse in decision making, because his decision making was always atrocious.
