Ed Davis tweets

Post#1 » by spaceballer » Thu Jul 19, 2012 12:57 am

Well, someone said the price of admission for me being able to hide out here from the meltdown over on the Knick's board was that I had to occasionally say nice things about Canada.

Here's one where you Canucks do better than us New Yorkers:

He didn't have to once resort to homophobic slurs like Amar'e in the exact same situation earlier this year :D Bravo.

I'm more impressed with Ed's response. Most players would have gotten defensive.

Yeah, that was my point. Your new guy has more maturity than our old guy who is suppose to lead our team...well, former team.

But Ed doesn't smile enough so that's proof he's leaving.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the fan tweet, in that the fan didn't resort to homophobic slurs criticizing Ed. :P

Not if Bryan Colangelo can help it. He'll ship him out for a 2nd rounder before that happens. You're fired, you can't quit.

Ed davis is really starting to grow on me. Right now hes perfect as a backup to play 20-25 mpg but i think eventually he'll need to start. His shot is coming around, we know he can rebound. Id like to see him block more shots and dunk more because i think hes capable with his athletism. That being said he was still a solid pick for us at 13 and he'll have a long nba career

ed needs to be able to hold position in the post. until he does that, he will rely completely on a pg to get him looks.

Lol Amare what a clown

Who knows how ED really reacted but at the very least it proves he is smart enough to think out his responses, especially after what Amare said so nothing special about that but kudos to him for spinning it back at the 'tweeter' into something positive and agreeable.

90% of people: React.

10% of people: Think, respond.

Ed's a smart kid to come back like that. Nice to see a pro athlete show some maturity.

Ed tries to look tough but he's a nice guy.

I talked to him for a minute after a game while waiting for autographs and he was really cool... actually skipped all the little kids and signed my hat first before the little kids (I sat right behind the bench and had a Raptors shirt during an away game). Talked about missing UNC for a little. Dude also had the best signature
