Deroza or Ross should pattern their game after Tony Allen
Deroza is focused on being DeKobe. But if I was Ross, I'd pay attention close attention to how Tony Allen plays and just play his game, Ross's shot could be wet nex year too. He'll make a good living in the NBA like that. So, you guys blast Ross's twitter. Maybe he'll leave the porn stars alone and contribute more nex year.
Who else on this roster do you think could learn from their NBA counterpart? I say Lowry from Billups/Andre Miller. Barngnani coulda been Chandler Parsons if they didn't f uck that up.

Barney was skinny like tha and agile. But they stuffed all that primo pasta down his gullet and forced him to play centre.

I don't want to be one of those guys to snub a poster, but there's so much awesomeness in this post. Deroza? Too good. It's also appropriate to note that Lil' Stevie Wonder is blind.

I don't think you can't "pattern" your game after someone like Tony Allen.. that's something you're born with. It's not a skillset or something you can practice - it's a state of mind, being totally unrelenting and tough as f***.

"Hey DeMar, we know that you are probably the worst defender on our team, but could you maybe try becoming Tony Allen? You know, the guy that is known only for his defense?" Are you high? Also, how in the hell could Bargnani become Parsons?

Re: Deroza or Ross should pattern their game after Tony Alle
I'm so sick of hearing about Tony Allen. He must be the most talked-about player who isn't even good. The trade-off when he's on the floor is great individual defense for nothing but back-cuts and missed layups on offense. He's like Jamal Crawford in reverse. I'd much rather have a player who succeeds within the team concept offensively and defensively without sacrificing spacing and allowing the other team to stash a bad defender on them, as so many playoff teams do to Allen. If DeRozan improved his defensive intelligence and 3-point shooting he could be similar to Jimmy Butler/Kawhi Leonard, which is both more realistic and better for the team. Also don't forget we have Lowry to harass other teams' PGs the way Allen does.

Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard aren't really anything special. They only look great because they have great coaches who are able to make the most of their abilities. If DeRozan played for the Spurs, and we had Jimmy Butler, everyone would be talking about how DeRozan is a stud and Butler is a a scrub.

Re: Deroza or Ross should pattern their game after Tony Alle
As much as I want Derozan to be a truly good 2 way player....Tony Allen has that grit and grime in his game where he wants to take an offensive player out of the game. He relishes in that role. Also note that he's a bad offensive player, and if Derozan tried to imitate Allen, parts of his offensive game will suffer due to exhaustion. There's a reason why Jordan was who he was, Derozan doesn't possess that hunger to destroy teams on both ends of the floor.

DeRoza patterning his game after his polar opposite, Tony Allen. Interesting idea.
I also think that Linus Kleiza should start patterning his game after Tony Parker. He just needs to watch more tape.

Tony Allen is a goon bruh. DeMar just needs to play with more effort on defense.

DeMar can't shoot, dribble or create his own shot, so I guess he's halfway to Tony Allen.

Can DeRozan or Allen do any of those things efficiently? Do you seriously think it's realistic for DeRozan to suddenly acquire amazing lateral quickness and elite defensive skills?
