How did Raps come so short in drafts over years

I mean all those years of losing and all we have to show for it is Valanciunas....... nothing else.

- Look at the Cavs who lost Lebron the same year as the Raps lost Bosh.... Cavs have kyrie Irving, Triston Thompson, Dipn Weiters AND the top pick this year (Noels).

- The Bobcats have Kemba Walker, Henderson, Kidd-Gilcrist, Byonmbo, all good players AND they have a lotto pick this year AND possibly 3 lotto picks in next years stacked draft....

- The Hornets have Anthony Davis, that electric Euro PG, a ton of good role players AND a lotto pick.

......... I can go on and on. The point is all losing teams take advantage of their positions at the Draft. They all have sonething to show for it. Raps have nothing but Valanciunas, nothing else. The rest are garbage. Derozan, Ross even Ed Davis, is over rated.

Ok but I don't see how they are any worse than TT, Waiters, Henderson, Biyombo. We're a bad team but the bobcats and cavs are even worse. Dude is just being a drama queen.

Pretty much this in a nutshell. You don't build teams by thinking non-lotto picks are expendable and giving them out like candy in trades. Drafting is an integral part of building a winning team and BC never got that.

2008 - traded for Jermaine O'Neal.
2009 - 9th.
2010 - 13th.
2011 - 5th.
2012 - 7th.

Now, look at the draft positions of the teams you mentioned.

If Noel is the number one pick to get a young player with an ACL in College and Broken growth plate in the same knee- NO THANKS

Kyrie needs to stay healthy for longer stretches to be a full Franchise talent - he has had serious injuries the last 3 years (Duke included)

And let's wait and see before judging the Pelicans: for now Davis has looked like the next Camby (injurieS and DPOY included )
