I think they'd want Ppat more than Amir.
PPat + Ross + Hayes + NYK-DEN 1st + 2015 1st + rights to Deandre Daniels
for
Carrol + Horford
Fields + future 2nd to PHI
JV/Amir/Stiemsma/Bebe
Horford/Hans/JJ
JJ/Carrol/Caboclo
DD/Lou/Hamilton
Lowry/Vasquez/Cherry
Antic/Hayes/Muscala
Milsap/PPat/Payne
Ross/Scott
Korver/Sefolosha
Teague/Mack/Schroeder
i really like this trade proposal. ross would look good for ATL. korver is more of a SF with size and above average defense. if ATL locks down milsap long term, there would be a log jam at PF where Horford prefers to play at PF. horford would be great along with JV. it leaves the SF open for a star to complete the lineup (Durant sweepstakes here we come!)
Roughly how much cap space would we still have? If the goal is to create a lineup that would surround Durant with talent, then this one certainly qualifies. I don't know if we would have max money for him, however, after all players are extended.
If we don't sign anyone for long-term contract. We will have only 5 players from our current roster on payroll in 2016 + pick from 2016.
Kyle Lowry $12,000,000
DeMar DeRozan $10,100,000
Jonas Valanciunas $6,179,799 (QO)
Lucas Nogueira $1,921,320
Bruno Caboclo $1,589,640
(2016 pick) $1,400,000
Total : $33,190,759
If the salary cap increase by 7.5% like last year, Salary cap for 2016 will be at about $73 million. Raptors will have about 40 million to sign Durant and Horford.
