I'm not watching today but Lithuania basketball is often painful to watch. Such a stagnant offense.

In the games before their offense didn't look so bad. It only started with playing against Slovenia and it was painful to watch for the first half against Greece, but that's mainly due to a ton of fouls. Against Brazil they look like they have a summer league like offense.

I just find it boring to watch a team jack a ton of threes. Not much of an offense in my mind.

A lot more fun when Jonas and other bigs are involved down low. Not just to score but to kick it back out and get the ball moving.

I guess they run PnR too.

Lithuania's defense is pretty hilarious at times. They let out Jonas on the court for the last 5 seconds of the quarter to play defense against... Barbosa.

Funny. But that would never happen. Lithuanian fans would boo the hell out of a national team with a naturalized player.

How about Lūkviūs Reidnas? Would they boo him?

It can be nice when they are shooting wide open threes, but that's not really happening at all today. Also, they barely try to establish bigs in the post. Jonas had 5 touches in the post, once he got the ball poked away, once he got stopped by Nene, twice he was fouled by Splitter and once he hit a turnaround jumper against Nene. They should try going through Jonas more, but for whatever reason they just shoot contested jumpers instead. I still don't really understand how Lithuania is only 6 points behind after the third quarter, this shouldn't even be a game by now.

D-Mo's looking like a LeBron James compared to Jonas today.

D-Mo has airballed like 2-3 shots already.

Jonas starting to sober up in the 4th quarter. 4 straight points by him.

He only had to put it in the basket in those two plays though, everything was done before that.

Why? Is it obnoxious to state the obvious? Offensively Lithuania is looking like a bunch of scrubs.

JV didn't practice his jumpshot this summer? Is the coach forbidding him to take it? He had an open jumper and just slashed with his jumping hook instead, and bricked it.

He is right though. Lithuania looks pathetic today. D-Mo's the only one who's still somewhat adequate. The rest are looking like scrubs.

If Jonas plays like this in the upcoming season, the Raptors aren't making the playoffs.

Jonas is playing like an idiot. It's as if he forgot everything he learned from Hakeem.
