Best individual seasons in Raptors history
Came across a Raps HQ series where they go over the best individual season's in Raps history.
What's your top 5? (Max of 1 per player)
Mine:
1. Vincent Lamar Carter, 2000/2001: 27 PPG, 5 RPG, 4 APG, 46% FG, 40% 3FG, 25 PER, 55% TS, .201 WS/48 (best all time).
Best individual season in Raps history easily. Beast season, led the Raps as far as they've gone.
2. Christopher Wesson Bosh, 2009/2010: 24 PPG, 10.8 RPG, 2.5 APG, 25 PER, 59.2 TS%, .182 WS (behind Lowry, Calderon, and Carter).
Team only won 40 games but Bosh was an absolute beast that year. Noticeably stronger, drew 8.4 FT a game. Very aggressive. Horrible defensive team and Bosh was pretty poor on that end that though for that season.
3. Kyle Lowry, 2014/2015: 17.9 PPG, 7.4 APG, 4.7 RPG, 42.3% FG, 38% 3FG, 20.1 PER, 56.7% TS, .197 WS/48 (tied with Jose for 2nd of all time in history).
We just witnessed it, the engine of the Raps. Glad he's back. Was pretty comparable with Jose's 07/08 season but due to usage rate and defense, you have to go with Kyle. Can he replicate it this season? I think he can, at the least come pretty close, especially if he incorporates a decent mid range jumper (surprisingly poor from there). We'll see though.
4. Jose Manuel Calderon, 2007/2008: 11.2 PPG, 8.3 APG, 2.9 RPG, 52% FG, 42.9% 3FG, 20.5 PER, 60.7% TS (damn son), .197 WS/48 (tied for 2nd all time with Lowry, behind Carter).
Most underrated season probably. Most efficient season in Raps history. Played 30 MPG and split time with TJ that season. Most notably joined Larry Legend, KD, Steve Nash, Disco Dirk, Mark Price, Reggie Miller and Steve Kerr as the only players to ever have a 50-40-90 season. Also shot 98% from the line the following season. GOAT shooter. Still had that burst to the rim at this point, but was at best slightly below average on D that season.
5. DeMar Darnell DeRozan, 2013/2014: 22.7 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 4.0 APG, 43% FG, 30.5% 3FG, 18.4 PER, 53.2% TS, .141 WS/48.
De-AllStar. Best is ahead of him. Can he ever hit the three at a respectable rate? can he get better on defense? We'll see, but he's becoming my fave Raptor ever. I wanna see more of De-Scowl next season though.

Yeah dude, good choices. You could argue that Vince has more great seasons but for 5 players, definitely the right choices in my opinion. I might bump Lowry up to #2 just for the fact that he was a much better" team leader" than Bosh ever was. Bosh was too quiet and conservative, Lowry will talk out there like he doesn't give a ****.

Yea, thought about it but i thought Bosh's numbers were too high to ignore.

Don't think Calderon's registers in the top 5 (sheer numbers aside)
The All Stars
1. Vince's 3rd season
2. Bosh's last season here
3. DeRozan's season he just had
The Borderline Allstars
4. Stoudamire's second season
5. Lowry's last season
6. Davis' 2nd season with the Raptors
Forderon
7. Ford's first season
8. Calderon's 3rd season.

Re: Best individual seasons in Raptors history
As far as individual stats go, you have to consider Mike James in 05/06.
20.3 ppg
5.8 ast
3.3 rpg
46.9 FG%
44.2 3pt%
19.8 PER
It could be the biggest statistical outlier season ever, played selfishly and won very few games but you could still argue that it's one of the best Individual seasons a Raptor has ever had.

1. To avoid confusion
2. Why not?

Good thing he included middle names. Didn't want to make a mistake with the other Demars who played for the Raps.

Why is 09/10 Bosh considered better than his All-NBA year in 06/07 ?

So you're predicting Kyle having the exact same #s across the board next season?

Damon Stoudamire gets severely over looked when it comes to his contributions to this team.
