Should teams use "group-meditation" to help maintain focus??

Post#1 » by gnaz » Fri Oct 31, 2014 1:24 am

Not sure if this was brought up before... but do you guys think that spending approximately 10-15 min before every game could help the team/players maintain their focus/solidarity going into the games by curbing all negative thoughts outside of basketball, as well as negative thoughts within the sport. Is the idea a bit too zen for sports?

Thoughts?

I think it would be particularly useful during playoffs and when teams are in a slump etc.

Puff, puff, pass. Pretty sure Amir, JJ and Ross do this before games currently.

Have they spoken about it in any interviews?

It worked for Maple Leafs (Love Guru movie), so it should work for Raptors !
