Awesome news, im assuming that he developped his english enough and become accustomed enough to the NBA life style that they feel hes ready for a trip to the D league where he can get more minutes. Thats what the kid needs, he needs playing time to develop his game as much as possible. Ill be keeping a keen eye on the Mad Ants from now, anyone know if we can see some of his games?

Good. It's time for Bruno to get some burn for a while. The area of his game that can probably improve the fastest is knowing when to shoot. Needs to learn to pick and choose his spots. Also could use some time to figure out when and where to help on defence. He's extremely active at times, but he overhelps in bad positions.

Yes. How many will be going picture in picture if the Raptors and Mad Ants play at the same time? Which game gets volume? The bigger picture?
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Was waiting for this to be honest. Interested to see how he does over there. Will be able to compare his D league stats to other players, will have an idea what caliber player he really is.

Knowing how big a following he has already, Rogers should be playing every single game of Bruno's on Raptors TV.

It's a good thing. He will get some much needed playing time. Couldn't see him getting any minutes the next couple weeks against our tough west coast opponents

If we don't do well on this road trip, we now have a reason.

He probably gets no minutes on that team. We're sharing it with half of the nba.

Go look at their roster, they dont have too many good players. He should be able to at least get 15-20 minutes and if he performs well he might get more. If i was the coach of the Mad Ants id be interested as hell to know what a kid like Bruno can provide since he's very much an unknown right now

Bruno > Andrew Wiggins
If TSN showed Wiggins' Kansas games...I expect to see some Iowa Ants action. ;)

I actually like the way it played out. He gets drafted, spends quality time with his team that is winning, instilling in him a winning attitude, along with practicing with a real team, put him out there once in a while to boost his confidence and then send him down to the d-league for him to develop and 'hog the ball'.

Should have been sent down earlier, would cringe when he was on the court even if it was garbage minutes.

Hopefully spending time with the team paid off for his english though.

Great stuff. He'd better get plenty of minutes or else I'd much rather he stay with the big club.

Interesting that Bebe isn't headed there with him.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
