Ettore Messina or Mike Malone for me and not sure about Tom Thibs I think he is overrated imo

Vasquez and Hansbrough are not Euro players.

Vasquez went to high school and played college ball in Maryland
Hansbrough went to high school in Missouri and spent 4 years at UNC

Hansborough sounds Latvian and Vasquez is from Portugal.

Hansbrough is born-and-raised American
Vasquez was born in Venezuela and came to the U.S. for high school and has played American ball since. (Aside from playing Fiba America for Venezuela)

No connection to anything Euro in relation to basketball

I don't think Ettore Messina is going to Toronto, I think Pop is grooming him to succeed Spurs. Also Thunder is also looking at him, if I was a coach I'd rather take Thunder than the Raps.

A coach that:

-emphasizes ball-movement on offence
-holds players accountable
-make good judgement calls with regards to substitutions/rotations
-uses a defensive scheme(s) that suits the roster and their abilities
-makes in-game adjustments
-can motivate players

So, hire whoever checks those boxes.

Love his coaching record and pedigree. Bulls would be crazy to let him go.

Both former Carlisle assistants probably getting fired. Stotts deserves to keep his job more than Casey that is for sure. But apparently he could be fired regardless.

Casey again says, "I don't think someone dominated us, I wouldn't use that word."

Ettore Messina is my choice.

If not him, then a young, smart coach from the college game or someone from the Spurs. Maybe Mike Malone.

For me, I know coaches aren't at fault when a player misses a rebound, a shot, or a defensive rotation/responsibility, but they need to know how to make adjustments. Not just game-to-game adjustments but in-game adjustments, too. I also think a good system will help cover for your players weaknesses, and it will put them in the best position to succeed (be it offensively or defensively).

Where did you hear Stotts was getting fired?

Remember when the last coach discussion thread was 50% Lawrence Frank and 50% Dwayne Casey? Yeah, maybe you guys don't know what you want.

There are some rumours but it also ties into the LaMarcus Aldridge situation and how he might not want to remain with the Blazers. Blazers might tank for a few years and get back into contention without paying a premium for their head coach.

MIKE.MALONE.

Casey would never do this. Accountability is what we need most.

My favourite thing continuously said:

"Masai isn't going to do anything, he's just going to sit back and evaluate. This is BC's team and Masai has been hailed a saviour for no reason. He won't fire Casey, he won't trade anyone, he is just a yes man who cares more about Africa basketball"

And then people post threads such as "Where are all the good posters?".

They can't stand the children running around who clearly have never dealt with any real life problems and actually want to discuss basketball without hyperboles thrown around for everything.

Raps beat SA, we can win title, Raps lose to Milwaukee, we are the worst team in basketball.

Raps in 4, Gamer and UD are three people I will call out as they are awful trolls on this forum who had little to no value.

Before a plethora of you jump in and say "you called out UD, dude he's my homie", well he also offers little to nothing regarding basketball.

He does offer a lot of gifs, which most of us could search on google, and gets a lot of likes because of that, but in terms of quality, these three are awful and the quality of posters now is almost all equivalent to them

We clearly need a defensive minded coach which is actually good at coaching.

JVG? Thibs?
Also, for those demanding Blatt, we'd better hire the 'real' coach of the Cavs, LeBron James instead
