Hopefully it's Chauncey Billups and he can find a way to get Lowry's head out of his a$$.

Ime Udoka. Then takes over as head coach.

It's one hell of a longshot though.

Casey is the assistant coach killer. What dumbass assistant would possibly want to sign here and ruin his career.

Casey gets a free ride and somehow gets to use the assistants as scapegoats

I've been saying since the rumors hit that we'd go this way. One veteran player (hopefully Udoka but otherwise a respected PG would be great), and one with NBA head coaching experience.

Billups would be huge for Lowry.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

I wouldn't mind trying to take a shot for Ime udoka, but I feel like he wouldn't leave the Spurs for another Assistant coaching job. Especially one with the Raptors. That's like going from Google to....idk...Netscape.

I don't think we're even on Bing's level right now.

I'd say AskJeeves, if they're even still around.

That being said, I'd be very happy if it's BIllups. If anybody can light a fire under Lowry's ass, and get him into shape, it would be Billups I would think.

Except Messina might be the heir apparent for the Spurs, and Masai and Ime just might be buddies given Udoka played for the Nigerian national team, through his father's birth, and involvement in basketball without borders? Masai might just be the one to pry him away.

I find it problematic we have to get a mentor for a 30 year old vet.
