AA was solid with the nets and is a hard worker plus he showed up in the playoffs

On the one hand we need scoring from SG position from the bench (no Tross..... you're not it).

On the other hand if I have to watch a full season of isolation-Lou bench play I may as well just become a Knicks fan.

I'd personally rather have a starting PF, put 2Pat on the bench PF role, and call it a day.

Just sign a PF for one year + second year team option.

Lowry/Wright
DD/Tross
Carroll/JJ
_____/2Pat
JVal/Biyombo

If Delon Wright can be productive from the start....... developing with actual play time rather than bench warming duties......

Only thing is Casey will have to stop being a b***h and suck it up and play JJ as second option SF.

40% in the regular season, and 31% in the playoffs?

Are you telling me we can't find that for a 1/10 the price? ?!? 2 assists per game.

I don't know advanced stats that well, but I do know this guy needs to GTFO

Yes ppl, please note what Actshun noted. How the hell is 40.4% FG and 34% from 3P efficient? The only thing Lou does well is being able to create for himself to get the shot off, but he's NOT hitting those at a respectable rate. I rather see team ball to create a good shot opportunity.

Yes we need more offensively gifted players but not at the cost of turning our entire team into iso play after iso play. Can blame Casey for that so let's not give him the option at all.

i like Lou but he's too one dimensional. Great off the bench scorer but we'd need a better coach to balance Lou.

If they cant find a better option at pf and if they havent renouned Lou, then if you sign him at the right value, and sign TH or someone else at pf then i'd be ok with it. I think hed help wright. I think that GV and Lou were too simalar and GV's offense hurt from it, and i dont think GV was a good pairing defensively. If Ross goes it would be good to have another scorer off the bench.

Who do you have in mind?

Gerald Green
Marcus Thorton
Anthony Morrow
Willie Green
Alan Anderson
Will Barton
Dorell Wright

If we get any of the top tier of them (Green, Thorton, Morrow, Barton/Wright) I think it makes JJ/Ross expendable for a 4.

JJ+Ross+Ridnour+16' TOR 1st for ________ PF (specifically try for Faried, Jones, Sullinger, Morris, Gibson)

Lowry/Wright/Min
DeRozan/Morrow/Powell
Carroll/Green/Caboclo
(Trade PF)/Patterson/Min
Valanciunas/Biyombo/Nogueira
too bad reality isn't your trade proposals.

Lou is probably in Masai's plans, it's just not clear how far down the list.

Biyombo and Caroll address many of the issues from last year. Lou was key to a huge number of wins last year. I'm happy with him back.

The key to the teams success is Lowry being at top form, not Finding some replacement for Lou.

JV will play 15-20 max with Biyombo here now, might even lose his starting spot.

If Lou accepted ~$7 mill a year, I'd love to bring him back. That gives us enough space to trade Ross for a mid-level PF (hoping for Taj Gibson). Otherwise, we should look at guys like Alan Anderson, Rodney Stuckey, Gary Neal, Marcus Thornton, etc.

Lou should be getting a deal somewhere between what Marco Belinelli got and what Monta Ellis got. ~$8-9 million. I don't think he'll be getting it from us.

Yes but only with a good contract (6-7 millions, otherwise no).

Agreed. AA's defence isn't bad either, and he would come at half of Lou's cost if not even less.

I like Lou and he is a prototypical 6th man but think it is best to part ways.
Before the season I would like a trade of Ross for Martin.
Martin brings everything that Lou does but on a 2 year contract and at his age is better for the Raptors in a 6th man roll.
you are getting DeMar with a 3 PT. shot and if the right deal comes for DeMar can slip him into 6th man role.

Lou Williams?

I'm only interested in getting Lou if it's on a reasonable contract. 6-7 MIL per TOPS. I think Masai agrees otherwise we would have already signed him.

If we lose him we won't be able to replace his talent this off season and with teams like milwaukee and boston improving. We need to re sign everyone to ensure we can make another play off push.
