The Cleveland Cavaliers held a players-only meeting following a 103-99 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

LeBron James and James Jones got on the team for its inconsistent play during their 11-4 start to the season.

"It's all mindset," James said after the game, still visibly frustrated. "It comes from within. I've always had it; my upbringing had me like that. It's either you got it or you don't."

David Blatt absolved the Cavaliers of any fault after the game, but James rejected the softer stance.

Players only meetings usually happen when teams are embarrassed by their performance. In a case like the Rockets, I get it, they're off to a terrible start after just making the WCF. But when these two who are still doing just fine n in CLE's case are 1st in the conference, it's ridiculous unless they don't respect the opponent and think there's no way they should lose to us like we're the Sixers or something. These weren't 40pt blowouts, hard fought games where they lost to another playoff team, it happens. Screw them.

Compared to the clippers one, I think this one actually makes sense? Cav's are the best in the east but LBJ is smart/veteran enough to know nothing is free in the NBA and I think can recognize complacency. They cant decide to form good habits and intensity only once they get their players back, they need to start now (or should have started already). Not to mention we are a potential playoff opponent of the cavs, and for the first time in what, 5 years we beat LeBron at home?

We were blowing out Clippers by almost 30 at the half and held them to only 80 pts overall. Lowry and Joseph made the same play like 3 times (easy layups) in the 4th quarter, and they lost hustling. I dont consider its disrespect.
We just broke Cavs D, and brought them back to earth, make them discover what are their weaknesses.
