I agree. When Demar is on the wing going iso and Lowry curls from the weak side towards middle court and gets the pass from Demar for that 1-2 step three.... It's money everytime.

I guess they dont want to mention that the Raptors played the Warriors to the wire at home. They mentioned blowing the top teams out like Spurs, Clippers, Thunder, Cavs.. but of course Raptors dont belong in the conversation yet.

Go-to Billy Donovan ATO set designed for Russ. Hard to defend with KD at elbow for ISO while flare screen is set up. If defense shade towards KD to help, Russ open for 3 or drive to basket.

Kings are a mess, they have a talented team but they have low BBIQ, from Cousins to Rondo. They cost themselves games by doing stupid stuff at the end, when I watch them. Like when Cousins tried to throw it off the backboard to himself in an attempt to intentionally miss a free throw. And their front office is a joke if they fire the 2nd Coach in one full year.

cuz isn't even trying on defence half the time.. jogs up to court and guards whoevers closest to him.. and then just drifts around. he doesn't even exert a third of the energy on defence that he does on offence.

i feel like he'd only thrive somewhere where he has to respect criticism... pat riley, pop type of guys

Off game for Steph but he made some clutch plays and the passing by the Warriors on the whole is so beautiful. The ball is just whizzing around. It's not just one or two guys who are making good passes either.

Thunder starters aren't so hot either. When the starters were substituted they barely made a dent. Golden State wasn't even half trying out there. They were showboating. The reason they even were in the game in the first half is that GState sleepwalked for 3 minutes in the first quarter.

OKC has some nice individual athletic talents that you would want as a part of a great team...but they only play well on one side of the ball. It's why they always get destroyed by Lebron when playing similar styles.

Are they a cohesive unit that plays both sides of the ball and dominates the opposition with their team play? No way.

I get that people love Westbrook's take no prisoner's "Lebron in his prime lower the shoulder" full court game but does he play defense? How many times did he get back cut or scored on? Why is everything about his game about the six-gun salute or offense?

How about Durant? How many times did he get backed down by Draymond with no fight? Yes Durant is an exceptional scorer with great size but he is a toothpick who isn't exactly a juggernaut on the defensive side. Notice how many games the Thunder win by 126-115 scores. When ESPN mentioned they were 12th defensively I was shocked--Ibaka or no Ibaka. I think that is owed to the poor showing by Western opposition this year.

What impressed me about the Warriors was not their ball movement or their three point shooting or their full court offense (these are all great).

It was their defense. It was sending the player they were guarding the right way. It was making the correct guy take the shot they wanted him to. It was individual effort on d and sharing the ball on offense. They play together, they score, they play at a fast pace, but mostly, they defend.

Kings players dont even play defense, giving up a 100+ points per game was happening before Karl came. People talk about how good offensively Cousins is, but watch him, he is so lazy on defense.

Carmelo Anthony made the ESPN overrated list, and I might have to agree. Great scorer, but terrible leader, low BBIQ. All Star, but not the type to lead a team anywhere. He is more like a 2nd Banana to a superstar or a 3rd Banana on a stacked team like Bosh was.

can't believe the refs called a moving screen on the magic with less than 40 seconds in the game.. they literally happen on every play in crunch time.
