Re: Draft poll #6 prospect
Id say Dunn would have been higher than 6, but since it's gotten this far, yes he'd be the best prospect at #6.

I've been so focused on the playoffs I don't recognize a single name in the poll

Re: Draft poll #6 prospect
I'm amazed that Jaylen Brown keeps falling. I'd have thought he'd be long gone, but he's still on the board and looks like he might be around a bit longer.
If I'm the raps I'm getting on the phone with Denver and trying to figure out what they want for #7 and if there's any way we can move up if this is how the draft actually plays out.

Interviewer: Championship #2?
Ujiri: Hey...We're gonna get it. I don't know when it'll be, but we're gonna get it. Just like I said we'll get the first one and I said I didn't know when we'd get it...But we will. Guarantee you we will.

Where are your threads for the first four picks? I went back like 9 pages and couldn't find them. I was just interested in how the votes turn out.

TONS of debate on the Suns forum about how much people like or hate Brown..he is polarizing. I could say the exact same sentence for Bender. Though personally I'm pro Bender and anti Brown, but partially because I love TJ Warren and think he is ready to REALLY contribute and we have a serious hole at PF, and I think in this draft, and for the Suns, they should swing for a home run boom/bust prospect.
Sorry didn't mean to derail thread.

I feel like every team should be doing that. While I can understand the appeal of picking up a useful rotation player on a cheap contract with a lottery pick (particularly with the rising Cap where veteran stars are going to be earning $25-$30MM/year -- a rookie rotation player will earn 1/10th that amount!)
But honestly, how many chances do you get to add a star to your roster?
My philosophy would be to always use a lottery pick on a prospect who has the potential to eventually be the best or second best player on your roster. Then you can use mid-late first round and second round picks to find guys who can be useful rotation players (like the Delon Wrights, Norm Powells, Josh Richardsons of the world).
Back to the point, I think Jaylen's got NBA-level physical skills, and he appears to have the work ethic to make me think he can be a star in this league. I'd take him and run like I'd stolen something if he were somehow available at 9 for the Raps.

Oh yeah, I'd take him at 9 easily depending on team needs and who else was available...at 4 I think the risk outweighs the potential reward, and we just drafted a SF in the lottery two years ago...one who won ACC player of the year over Jabari Parker and has looked extremely impressive when he has played. He is one player flying extremely low on the nba radar right now who is probably a lot better than most people think.

How are Skal, Korkmaz and (especially) Maker already nominated but not Davis?
He gets my vote.
