Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Probably draft and stash pick, I'd go with either Rade Zagorac,, Isaia Cordinier, or Georgios Papagiannis.

I'd look heavy at Onuaku.... Hernangomez, McCaw, Yabusele are all very tempting

I think I'd go way off the board though and take Jarrod Uthoff, he looked amazing this year and improved so much throughout college... Could potentially step in and platoon with Patterson very effectively as a perfect athletic, rim protecting floor stretch, ball moving do it all power forward

I'd be cool with a Korkmaz (stashed for a year) and Onuaku draft.

GP2 He's like the PG version of Powell.

I would love the vision of this team to form a bench that would full-court press like the Bulls of the 90's and Rick Pitino's Kentucky Wildcats.

SG Payton
SF Wright
PF Powell
C Caboclo

Going for the Diamond in the Rough Stone
I can see him being a solid offensive rebounder in the NBA in his rookie year

Siakam looks intriguing. 6'10, 227lb, 7'3 wingspan, quick, good laterals, has a little range with his shooting, and looks like a pretty good passer. Excellent rebounding (ranks 5th among draft class in OReb)

Reminds me a bit of Biyombo. He even comes from Africa (Cameroon to be exact) and went to God's Academy.

I'd reach for him at 27. If we can't re-sign Bismack, but can turn this guy into a similar type of player....money.

Mccaw or Onuaku, ideally. I also like Juan Hernangomez if he falls but idk if that happens. I like Malcolm Brogdan because he seems like a reliable guard and high character individual but I don't think we really need him.

If this is how the draft played out I'm either trading the pick or doing a draft and stash with the player with the largest upside.

I like Guerschon Yabusele. Something about his massive frame.

Ug, I can't wait for James Johnson to be put in the same hall of fame as Sonny Weems and Jerryd Bayless as players who just 'never got their fair shot'.

I would be happy with any of Bembry, Hernangomez, Brice, McCaw. I like Bembry the most but would expect Hernangomez as most likely because of stashability.

Chinanu Onuaku would be my pick in this situation. I really like him. I also have Yabusele, Johnson, and McCaw relatively high on my draft board.
