Eh I think like 80% of RealGM Raptors fans thought he was a bum

But yeah I agree it's great to see. You can tell he really loves this new opportunity too

I just hope Orlando fans don't turn on him when he has 2 or 3 bad games in a row

They won't turn on him because they don't look at Fournier the same way Raptors blindly look at DeRozan as some sort of savior.

Frank seems to be very high on Ross and I'm just estatic he's finally given a real opportunity to show what he can do.

I'm telling you Casey is the anchor on this team. What he did to JJ was criminal. I'm not surprised one bit that Ross is finally showing his talent on a young team in Orlando. Good for him. I find it humorous also that the magic fans are loving Ross because he's making great passes and playing team ball  Casey is a garbage coach man

I don't know, it's hard for me to blame Casey for things like this.

I think we underestimate as fans how difficult it is to balance coaching two very offensively gifted all-stars. Allowing them to do what they want to/can do and getting other teammates involved.

OKC with Westbrook/Durant was a perfect example. Scott Brooks got a lot of criticism for their hero ball, he coaches Washington and is now being considered one of the better coaches in the NBA this year.

Casey's offensive scheme is terrible, but Lowry/DeRozan are very good pick and roll ball-handlers, and Casey allows them to do that as much as possible, even if it might limit some of the other players (Ross/JV particularly)

He's shown solid passing if you looked at his individual game, especially this year. It wasn't that hard to see if you looked at his talents under specific scenarios. Peoples incessant need for large sample size detracts from the discussion you can have on low usage players or players with specific roles (Ross - 3 points shooter/floor spacer).

Less and less people on here can think beyond rigid numbers - and I use Synergy and bball references a lot.

Man, the Knicks made that unnecessary difficult. Melo saved the win.

Its been a while watching other team for the whole game especially during the regular season since PP Celtics days. I just saw the Magic-Hawks game and all I can say is that I'm happy for Ross. The fan in me screaming for Casey to run more plays for him lol, not anymore since Vogel seems to allow him do what he does now with more freedom.

JJ is leading his team in assists while they blow out the Pacers lol. 15-6-8-2-1 line so far.
