If they strike out again with Bos, Chi is going to have to look some place else.

Just because they have the picks, doesn't mean you wait forever.

as much as i hate boston, i hope they can pull of a trade. the east will be a lot more competitive and lebron will actually have to play 2 good teams to make the finals

Either one would make Bos, considerably better and put them in the running to come out of the East.

I'm tired of Lebron coasting to the finals. I hate Boston but hate Lebron more lol. They would give them huge chance of losing

if Kevin Love was worth two number pick then Jaylen Brown and 2017 BK pick at a minimum..Butler has wanted to be the man; not sure how things are going to work out in the moneyTime with IT

If Chicago can somehow get both Brooklyn picks that will accelerate their rebuild so fast. They might get good in like 3-4 years.

I hope this kicks off an arms race. If Boston grabs Butler I hope Indiana sees their opportunity to cash in on George fading fast and decide to sell him to the highest bidder (which could be Toronto)

Haven't read a bill Simmons article in a while (thought he retired to do podcasts).

Other than the Celtics homerism, I forgot how damn good he is.

we should be actively pursuing paul george and talks should center around demar derozan. id trade demar+cojo if it meant getting george in return tbh.

If Masai is gonna go after Butler or George, no way he's willing to include DeMar or Lowry.
He'll want a big 3 of Lowry/Demar/George or Lowry/Demar/Butler

Norman Powell + Jonas Valanciunas + Cory Joseph + [2017] TOR First Round Pick + [2017] LAC First Round Pick + (More draft picks if you have too)

for

George or Butler
In Masai We Trust :meditate:

This.

In any event Boston and cleveland will be THE elite for years to come in the east...

Butler is better than anyone going #1 this year. Lonzo Ball guaranteed bust. Fultz is going to be a decent scoring guard, not a franchise player.

i agree, butler should be moved for guaranteed #1 and another high lottery plus a starter or better. bulls are crazy to chuck him away for anything less, he's elite, how many in the league are better than him as 2 way player? few at best.

Imagine the hissy fit LeBron would put up if he had to play more than one half-decent team just to get the the Finals? He'd be up at the podium like Trump, ranting and raving about why people don't like him b/c he can't just have his way.

I hope Cousins makes his way East, and Boston gets better too. I'd feel much better cheering for a 45-win team in a strong conference than a 50-win team in a bad conference.
