I've been really happy with the more decisive Quickly we've seen since the All-Star break. I wasn't really liking his approach before, but I see the value he brings now. I think he understands better what the team needs from him and he's going to continue to figure it out.

I imagine they all could be 20 point scorers next season.

Yeah it's very easy to have three 20 point guys in today's faster NBA pace and offenses without either of the guys being absolute scoring studs. If this were 15 years ago it would be less likely because of the slower pace.

Yeah in reality we need that 25ppg scorer now.

20ppg is like the new 15-17ppg. 25ppg is a legit 1st option
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

If Barrett could shoot 80% FT's he'd be close. :-?

As a Raptor coming north, he's averaging 20.5ppg but his FT shooting went south to 60% at 3/5 per game if he was 4/5 per game at 80% he'd be at 21.5 ppg.

His game is really expanding and he's almost at 4 apg with an A/T of 2. He is still 23 and exciting to see him grow during his pre-prime.

This is the best version of IQ. When he first arrived he seemed more focused on being a "PG" and he was less aggressive offensively. Since the break, he's playing more like a scoring combo guard.

Agreed and he still ends up with 9 assists and 1 turnover. :D

He’s been converting a lot more of his layup attempts. It was only a matter of time before that started to even itself back out.

The on/off metrics have normalized significantly over the last stretch. He likely will end up with a positive on/off by the end of the year.

I love how he stuffs the stat sheet. His defense and closeouts have been much better too. He just looks so much more comfortable out there now!

Depending on opponent or matchup he might have days where he creates for others

But his scoring has to be there every game

His stats since break are awesome. Hope it continues

With Scottie Yak and even now Kelly IQ is much more useful as a scorer that's what we need from him

I like him.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

IQ's been great since the break, finally putting together a string of consistent games. I think he's realized that we need him to be a scorer more than a play-maker for others. But his play-making has been tremendous as well.

If we're trying to find a silver lining in the Barnes injury, it's that IQ will be pushed to stay aggressive and create for others through that. If his drives lead to defences scrambling and rotating, that's what will open up opportunities for everyone else on the floor. He and RJ are the only ones left who can generate that kind of pressure.

We all have different opinions, and that is one thing that makes this forum great.

To me he seems like a guy that can come back one random offseason and just look unstoppable. Kind of like what Kyle/Demar did. There’s a lot of basketball IQ and natural talent but needs refinement.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
