Haliburton needs to play 9 more games, then shutting it down for the playoffs.

Then to 4. Which won't push us to 7, because our pick will be 1.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Pacers jumping to top-4 would screw us in so many ways. There would be a 70% chance it would be top-3 (meaning we lose the pick) and it would almost assuredly knock us out of the top-6. The Pacers jumping in the lottery could mean going from #6 and #14 to ZERO 1sts.

These two responses are of mindsets of Raptor fans pre championship and post championship, two extreme scenarios but for me personally I'm okay with even just getting either one of ours or pacers pick but optimistic we'll get two really good picks plus early 2nd round steal.

I said they will be jumping to 4, not top 4. We will be winning the lottery and picking 1st and 4th.

I don’t think you should take our posts too seriously. Obviously Fairview was making a tongue in cheek comment and I was replying with the equally unlikely “lose all picks” scenario. I don’t think Fairview really believes we’ll get the 1st and 4th picks.

As for me, I’m fine with giving up our pick this year and getting the 15th-16th pick from the Pacers. I can also see the argument behind wanting to keep our own pick though I am lower on our teams potential next season so I think it might be better to keep our pick for ‘25 if we’re bottom 8ish again next season.

Who is everyone targeting with the Pacers pick?

I want Ware or Ivisic.

I think I ran the odds and it is like 0.1% chance that happens. But holy **** would that be glorious.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Is Halliburton doing his best Jordan Poole impression? Did he get punched in practice too? lol

It's ironic that sending them our 2nd best player never improved that team.

They cannot be thrilled to max him out unless they make some noise in the second round.

Sixers schedule is tuff to end the year I can't see the pacers falling below them if embiid isn't back. Miami has also been very unreliable this might come down to the last 1 or 2 games

Hali has been really bad. They'd be in a lot worse of a shape without Siakam

My opinion is worthless at the moment but I would target one of

Salaun
Dunn
Missi
Clingan

Still many time for my opinion to evolve.

Players to watch for our second rounder

Da Silva
Ware
Sallis
Edey

I still have a way to go to gather as much information as possible before the draft

Obviously the first pick will impact the second rounder. Like I could see us drafting one Missi, Clingan, Ware or Edey but unlikely it’s two.
