We've seen Precious have stretches like this before. I put more stock in the bigger sample size where he starts really making awful plays.

He's like a better Malachi Flynn. Good stretches and then long stretches of awful.

The only thing I could see working in his favour is if Thibs keeps him on a short leash and drives home his role as an energy big and not the next Kobe Bryant.

i agree....if Precious stops playing hero ball, and be an energy big, he'll thrive out a career

yeah exactly. For some reason both Nurse and Darko seemed incapable of keeping Precious and Boucher accountable to staying in their roles. Obviously Boucher was better.

I think what he's doing now is sustainable. I saw an interview where he implied he's learning not to do too much, just play to his strengths. He seems happy there too. Last night he started at 4 alongside Hartenstein, because Randle and OG were both out. Some Knicks posters think they've found their backup 4 for Randle, but we'll see.

Boucher has an epiphany, during that one covid game where he tried to be the go-too player a few years ago

Precious still thinks he has a scoring arsenal that he can unlock

I found myself questioning how did Spoelstra was able to draw out something from Precious Achiuwa that Nurse or Darko couldn't. Right now, Thibs seems to be taking a simpler approach with him, focusing on just a 1-2 tasks at a time that play to his strengths.

Just search Twitter within Rockets fanbase. It's ugly. Knives are out already.

Goosebumps every time. The feeling when Kawhi dunked the Kyle back pass - chills. Makes me wanna cry to see the crowd, the excitement, and see how quiet Scotiabank is now
