Man I had Jalen Green as the best guy in his draft and for 2.5 seasons I looked like an idiot. He’s finally putting it together though.

You weren’t alone, he was the top rated prospect pretty much all that season with the only real questions about the Ignite route. The offensive talent was always obvious…think he’s one of like 5 guys with 7 40+ pt games before age 22 ever, the rest all greats…but his D had been so bad I was at the point of wondering if it was lack of effort or just being too light/weak, because the athleticism is obviously off the charts, but guys were scoring on him pretty easily. In my mind it was staring to seem like he’d be one of those guys who give you a lot but cost you a lot. But Ime has really turned that around, he’s a plus defender now, all of a sudden, his overall effort has risen and at the same time his shot judgement has gotten better, so, yeah, looking pretty damn good. Very strong contender for WC Player of the Month.

Edit: one thing I think people overlooked was how young he was drafted. He’s like 1/2 a year younger than Scottie.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Absolutely. Agree with all of this. During his first two seasons I got the feeling that he had no discipline or accountability and that the culture created by guys like KPJ and Josh Christopher was bad for him. Those guys are gone, in comes Fred, Brooks, and Ime and I think the culture change has done wonders for him. He’s such an exciting player. Can’t wait to see what he becomes in his prime.

The Celtics are such frauds. It would be amazing if Atlanta were to get the #8 seed and face Boston and beat them again.

Lmao Dejounte "Trae Young" Murray with 44 points on 44 shots. They somehow pulled out the win, though.

Celtics and Bucks are both frauds. Miami would have essily beat both if Riley traded for Pascal or OG.

Should the Hawks trade Trae Young? Who could use him?

Jalen Green has been a huge part of their turnaround the past month. However, I just cannot believe he’s a plus defender. He was incredibly mediocre through 55 games this year. Let’s hope he can continue this hot streak that he’s on.

Lot of people wrote off Jalen Green early, but the talent was obvious if you've seen him play. Inefficiency was his biggest hurdle. Wonder if Sengun's absence is a factor here with Green struggling off ball?
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.
