theyre lucky playing with him. 27, 20 and 10 9/16 shooting vs a great defender in AD

He’s the best player in the world, but that was a rare bad decision that won’t get talked about because they managed to pull out the win.

pretty much a perfect game by him, nothing to harp on negatively with what he did vs AD and transforming the game in the 4th as he normally does

Round 2 will not be against Boston, that's the benefit of finishing second. Which Los29 said the Knicks would not do.

I could see Precious getting to play against Bucks or Pacers more than Philly. But maybe not. I'm told Thibs keeps a tight playoff rotation, like the 8 we saw yesterday. Either way I hope Precious having had a nice run of games in New York will prolong his career, there or somewhere.

Did I actually say they wouldn’t finish 2nd? Do you have the quote? I’m pretty sure I said it was very tight from 2-6.

Quick search can't find it. I think you said they were 4th when they were actually tied for 2nd at the time. Ended up clear 2nd after that. You kind of cast doubt on them finishing 2nd. But what I'm probably thinking of is you said you'd eat crow if they get to the ECF. Close enough right?

Ok ok I may have been off there.

Meanwhile I'm enjoying having a team to root for in the playoffs.

So not only did you misquote me but you didn’t even get the point I was trying to make. There were 4-6 teams very close together in the standings. Knicks finished 2nd but could’ve easily finished much lower.

After that boring weekend of games, last night was special.
You love to see the bloodbath going on in these games after all the grifting of the last few years. Thank you Adam Silver!

Maxey is too fast....hell...too fast for most guards
Embiid is too big....and with Robinson and Hartenstein....isn't needed

So then he spends most of his time covering Harris and Oubre.....and is shutting them down. No forward has more than 10 points in either game for Philly.

Lots of teams are led in part or in whole by their star forward...Boston, Bucks, Indy, Heat, Clips, etc... Having OG vs those teams will have massive value.

And in saying that, I am still glad the Raps are not going to sign him to a big contract.

Yeah when they say OG can guard 1-5, he can, better than anyone else. But Maxey is a tough match because of superhuman quickness. OG can shut down Dame or Donovan Mitchell but Maxey is a different level of speed. And Embiid is so big. And the Philly wings/forwards just don't score much. You're exactly right, against most good teams who have a star forward his value is huge.

Yeah the change in refereeing which happened abruptly after the ASG, I thought might not continue in the playoffs. But they have stayed consistent, not calling the foul baiting tactics anymore. Except for Lebron.

My only point was in spite of injuries they did indeed fight through and finish second. Ahead of healthier teams

100%, the Knicks had no business finishing 2nd with players like Josh Hart, DiVincenzo, McBride, Hartenstein and without OG and Randle (&Robinson). Brunson is not that guy, he is very good player but he is no Kyrie, Prime-Westbrook, etc... They do have a genius on their bench that incorporated all the 3-pt shooting.
I will always wonder what a coach like that would have done with Barnes, OG, Pascal, Jakob, GTJ, Dennis..

Good season for them. Just need some growth.

Also not convinced they have “that guy” yet.

They don’t right now, that’s for sure. I personally don’t think Banchero will ever be that, but I’ve been wrong before on this stuff.

He won’t be. He doesn’t have the delusional confidence.

Masai and Bobby tanked Pascals value by putting garbage teams around him. I’m so over this FO.

You mad bro? - Siakam continues to cook - just guarded Dame to perfection, and dropped a dime to put Indy up 20.....

Also, Siakam 3 of 4 from three? Where's that fool that said Pascal was the worst 3 point shooter ever?

Doesn't seem that way.
