I know I'm gonna be one of the very few that agree with this take but I just would enjoy the showdown of the 2 guys who've basically been battling for MVP the last several years and in a plot twist....(this might get me booed out of the thread lol) BUT I'd actually like to see Embiid win it just for how much it will shift the conversation in the league.

Although the league is finally preparing to move on from LBJ, KD & Steph...that would really cement that it's now Jokic, Giannis & Embiid's era (which obv already is). But I think it makes it more fun when there's a debate about who's the best player in the league and if these 3 guys are scrapping it out each year for the next 3-4 it will make for a story of a different era in basketball and help solidify those guys as all time greats.

It's kinda funny to me how the league seems to want to leapfrog the spotlight over that trio (Jokic/Giannis/Embiid) and already trying the focus on to AntMan, Luka & Shai, heck they're even trying to force the narrative onto Tatun. Each of those guys are still (other than MAYBE Tatum) probably another 2-3 years away from taking over but right now is the Big Man Era. Those guys imo just don't seem to be getting quite the level of attention that they've earned by harping too much on players of the recent past and then overlooking them for the guys following behind them. I'm just saying if Embiid gets one then I think it will force the league & media to finally acknowledge who's era it is and make for a fun conversation of where each guy can place themselves historically (feels like arguably an even better version of Hakeem/Robinson/Ewing with no MJ in the way lol).

Zion always looks like he has one longer leg then the other. Gonna have hip pains someday I don't think his career can be long.

The NBA saw the Pels had a good chance of winning and said hell naw.

29-15 in FTs.

GS will win the next game. No way the NBA would allow a playoffs without Curry and Lebron.

CJ McCollum should be ashamed of himself What an absolute joke of a player pelicans need to get that scrub off the team and get some real guards on that squad.

I think the Kings will win actually. Have a feeling Fox will dominate. But there is a reason I don’t gamble.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

warriors finally finished. they had a good run. kings may well beat the pels too if zion's out.

fox-sga in the first round would be a fun watch at least.

Lakers are always in these games against the Nuggets but the difference is every Nuggets player in the 4th flips the switch and plays PERFECT basketball not only against the Lakers but against any team in the clutch.

Lakers could beat them but I doubt it. They had one of the biggest mistakes in NBA history by letting go of Caruso. They'd be looking at their 4th NBA championship in the past 5 years right now. Caruso is one of the biggest game changers I've ever seen in this league. Jamal would've still been great but not MJ level great like he was in the WCF last year

Yeah, they're done.

Read on Twitter

I wonder if some trash team (looking at you Detroit) throws stupid money at Klay just because of his name? Although by all accounts he doesn't want to leave California.

They absolutely have to attach one of their youngsters in any Wiggins deal, along with that lone available 1st round pick they have.

Caruso is so underrated. His affect at the guard position, is like OG. I would take Caruso over Marcus Smart.

They really have to let Klay walk. Trade Wiggins and Moody to Toronto for Ochai Agbaji, Chris Boucher (probably re-sign for MLE or less) and McDaniels (exipiring fodder).

#52 pick - Antonio Reeves

PG Curry - CP3
SG Podz - GPII
SF Kuminga - Reeves
PF Draymond - GuiSantos
C TJD - Looney

Maybe it's time for Klay (34 years old) to leave and sign with the Lakers for the MLE for 4 years with max raises and a player option 4th year?

PG DLo - Vincent
SG Reaves - Klay - FA
SF Lebron - Klay
PF Hachimura - Lebron
C AD - FA
