I did not say anything at the time, but I have not seen 1 minute this year that he has not played like it was a championship game.

Add to that he is really talented with the 3 and defensive instincts and he is going to be paid this off season.

Notice also that he averages well under 30 minutes per game. It is the only way that they can keep him healthy playing in overdrive every minute.

Goes to show how it's best to be patient with young players when they're starting out.

He was looking like a bust for sure after his rookie season. I still think his ceiling is only an elite role player, like a PG version of OG, which isn't to say that's a bad player. I'm just glad Masai was able to identify his limitations and draft a better player.

Gary Forbes and a 1st rounder for Lowry was a clutch move by BC.

This is true, however said 1st rounder would have been used by Masai to draft Giannis if BC didn't trade it.

It's one of those "what ifs" that doesn't even involve much guessing either. It's not like we would have been better without Lowry that season, and the Masai/Giannis draft video from 2013 is well known.

Good point. But also, Giannis would have been coming to a losing team with very little in the way of complimentary pieces. I'm confident Masai would have been able to build a winner around him eventually, but it wouldn't have been an easy road.

In retrospect, I would probably prefer that timeline. I think Masai could manage to win at least two titles with Giannis.

As a Magic fan, I am glad that the Raptors chose Barnes over Wagner and Suggs.

Looks like a win win.

Never a win when you get the worse player. Magic would have a brighter future if they had Scottie instead of either of those players.

Suggs will have a solid career but his upside is quite limited.

Lmao the hilarity of this chain
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

We traded our 2013 pick for Lowry. We drafted T Ross in 2012.

Damn was wondering what happened to Ed Davis and he's in a Puerto Rican league. He always played like an old school PF. The game evolved too much for traditional bigs.

Not so speshal

The season is just dragging out at this point, this has probably been one of my least enjoyable seasons in Raptors history. Never have I just stopped watching games all together like I have this year

The fact the Raptors are still Top 7 in home game attendance is beyond me

Definitely not his best showing especially on D

There were positives though. Ran a fast break and threw the oop. Nifty layup of the dribble. Couple of nice cuts.

What stood out most to me is how little space Harris gave him. He was on Dick like white on rice.

I am a guest here and am not here to argue,

I like Wagner and Suggs fit with Paolo and with Coach M. Would not change a thing.
