I focused on Castle today. Holy hell was he ever left wide open for most of his points. I am coming around a bit more to him at six though.

I was pretty impressed. Looked comfortable finishing when he drove, good team player and was willing to shoot the 3 when unguarded which is a good sign for him even if his shot will take a few years (we have the time).

If Barnes' shooting hadn't gotten up to where it'll probably be basically average or Dick looked like bust, I don't think you could take him - you just need 3 shooters around a not good shooting Barnes and a center unless we luck into a unicorn at the 5 - but with Barnes shooting it okay and Dick and Quickley being very good shooters it makes some sense to have 2 guys who are very good all-around players at different spots (a guard and a forward) and then shooters and centers complimenting them, and the combined 25-30 minutes a night or so only one of Barnes or Castle is on the floor you still have a guy moving the ball, defending and helping you win the possession battle with boards and turnovers.

Brilliant take. Castle is like guard scottie that affects the game in different ways. He is a winning player.

Happy with Castle at 6

I wonder if he'd be our pick if we landed 3/4 as well

Castle cemented himself as a top 5 pick. Probably goes top 3.

Clingan has absolutely no offensive game. He will probably go top 10 and bust out of the league.

If Sears was just a little taller, he would be a first round pick. I see him going between picks 31-40.

I have supported Edey all year, but he was terrible against NC State. He will still end up going in the first round but probably outside of the lottery.

I like Risacher a lot and would still take him #1. After that, I could see taking Castle at #2. I don't really have a strong feel yet for how to rank the Sarr, Topic, Castle, Clingan, Dillingham, Sheppard group. I do agree with tankathon having those guys in the top 7 currently, though. I've never been very interested in Buzelis or Holland, and nobody else obviously belongs in the top 10 to me.

Castle has been great on both ends. Will be advertised as a 2 way guy in draft. Just needs a consistent jumper

imo Castle is the best player in this draft, he is like a dwade light, if somehow we keep our pick and he drops to us you take him and run.

Edey vs Clingan

This is the biggest battle since Earthquake vs. Tugboat

I don't get the Salaun hype. What's the draw behind him?

Earthquake was a bad man.

I preferred him better when it was Typhoon instead of Tugboat. Typhoon and Earthquake were a badass tag team combo.
