We already cut Payne once. What's DJ Agustine up to these days?

Aaron Holiday? 39% from 3, has held up defensively for the Rockets, still only 27/28 and shouldn't be too expensive.

nothing amazing but solid enough to hold down some backup mins, you could do a lot worse out there. Especially if you're looking for a backup that can shoot 3s.

He would be ideal.
Depending on how the draft goes.
26 next year.
Philly chasing a star in FA.
He's a UFA.

A guard rotation of: the following looks solid
IQ, Melton
RJ, Dick

Could sprinkle in a rookie too.

Him or Topic. Different styles but I'd be fine with either. If Topic improves his shooting, he'd be able to play alongside Quick, he's tall

I forgot he was a free agent. Around the same age as Yak. I wouldn't hate it.

What does he make? And does that require renouncing Brown and GTJ?

Might make sense to operate over the cap if you think you can grab Melton or Jones on the MLE.

Pair that with our draft picks and we start looking like a team with talent again. Been awhile.

IQ, Jones/Melton
RJ, Dick, GTJ
Pick 6 (Risacher), Bruce Brown, Ochai
Barnes, Boucher, Detroit pick (de Silva)
Yak, KO, Indy pick (Ware)

We'd be interesting to watch at least

how would Russell play backup

During the FA livestream before Schroder signed, I said we should take a look at Russell at the MLE, but that it might not be enough because he'd get a deal around $18-20m. I was laughed at by "Amateur Hour Sports" because A) he said he was horrible, and b) the AAV was way too much, like, by double.

Yeah, I'm petty.

Can we just bring the old band back?

- Lowry (replaces temple)
- Demar (replaces GTJ)
- Delon (backup Guard/wing if we don’t keep our pick)

- Vince (community ambassador a la JYD or on the broadcast team)

Lowry can still help as a backup and he would know his role. A solid vet who’s won and who can retire here.

Demar would likely start but his spots are where others aren’t and his passing and midrange game is needed. He also gets to the line a ton and would be an ideal mentor to RJ and Scottie. Demar can anchor bench units offensively as well - in ways that Gary just doesn’t. He works in Darko’s offense really well. I’m assuming we move on from Bruce Brown in this scenario.

Delon is still a plus defender and what we would hope for from JFL or DJ Carton etc. If we end up keeping the 6th pick, we probably don’t need him - but he’s a vet and a solid locker room presence.

PG IQ/Lowry
SG RJ/(#6)/Delon
SF Scottie/Ochai
PF Demar/(#31)
C Olynyk/Poeltl/(#17)

We have Brown/Boucher/GTJ/McDaniels/Nwora as possibilities to include on the roster as well - depending on the way the draft shakes down. IMO taking a swing on a player who becomes available eg. Dejounte Murray could be a solid option too.
I believe in Masai.

At the time I wanted him as our starting PG not backup. He's not coming here to play backup, but on a contender, I could see it. Like, Dallas for example.
