This makes no sense. They were the #2 seed the past two seasons. They’ve had a bad year due to Ja’s suspension and then all the injuries.

Yes, because of Ja, their 3rd overall pick. Their 2nd best player is JJJr, their 4th overall pick.

All of their later picks except for Bane have been average to awful.

Who are their gems?

Brandon Clarke is a good player, Xavier Tillman was a rotation player before trade to Boston and Vince Williams Jr had a great season this year even under the circumstances.

I was super high on GG Jackson when everybody else called him the worst player in the draft. Buncha clowns.

Same. He came into the NBA with shot creation and difficult shot making ability. His issue was shot selection. It sort of still is, but he’s been good. Maturity will help him become a good player.

The defense is so behind I don’t it even know where to begin to fix it

Maybe it starts with getting your two best defensive players back in the lineup

Did you miss all those games where Barnes and Poeltl played this year? Lol

We played good defence when both were on the floor. The issues came when either of those guys had to take a breather. We need more front court depth.

Exactly... obviously Barnes and Poeltl are our 2 best defenders (not counting Ochai since he's offensively inept) but this team still needs more 2 way players around them. If your team can't sustain injuries to an average player like Poeltl, your team has far greater problems.

Let's hope our front office make magic happen this offseason. The path to becoming a playoff team next year is definitely there but we have to make the right moves.

Who are ours? We haven't had a gem of a pick since 2017 with OG, and our best player is the 4th overall pick. And we are worse than them in the standings, while they won 56 and 51 games the past 2 years, whereas we won 48 and 41, with arguably better players.

Awful weird criticism of a team objectively doing better than us, and criticism them of something they have done better than us. You keep on with these awful takes, the rest of us appreciate the entertainment.

IDK - maybe we could start with playing our best two defenders in Poeltl + Barnes.

Crazy thought.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

You know wins and losses can fall on a gradient? It’s not as discrete if a measure as u think. We have Ben giving up big leads all year the competitiveness of this team has sucked all season. Would we be ok if he won 10 games all year? Would that be acceptable? At won’t point would you look at darko and question is he an nba head coach? Or does he get carte Blanche on losses because roster sucks?

Wow, reading comprehension buddy. You would’ve saved yourself a long rant.

Yep, I agree. Saying Banchero/Franz/Suggs aren’t a championship core is a wild take. I’m glad you could get a laugh at that. It seems you don’t laugh enough going by your posts.
