I'm hoping for Sixers vs Celtics 1st round....it's a win-win if either team loses the series.

Good chance of it if Embiid is still out for the first play-in game against the Heat. I don't think the Sixers need him to beat the Hawks or the Bulls. It would be hard to root for the Sixers, but I do want Lowry to have a strong playoff run and consolidate his HOF credentials.

This is assuming that if Sixers lose the first play-in game, and win the second, that the Heat and Sixers are re-seeded to 7th and 8th respectively, despite their season records. Is that true?

I forgot about Lowry, but even Lowry won't get me to root for Embiid.

Heat will only have to beat the Sixers in the first play-in game to get the 7th seed...so it's a decent chance

I have same in the East and Lakers as the 7th, but I have GS winning both games to make it as the 8th.
