Too many people here are overreacting after the pacers win game 2.

Pascal played great because doc rivers sucks as a coach, he's out of his depth and the bucks can't play defense

Pascal played well but honestly the bucks are really bad without Giannis. They were vulnerable going into the playoffs too. Just something off about them right now.
Masai waited too long to trade pascal, should’ve traded him 2 years ago.

Who would’ve thought that if you put a good team around Pascal that he would flourish? Strange concept putting lots of shooters around him.

Only two games but I’m actually stunned at how good he’s been playing. He’s been elite.

A questionable overturned call on the late foul by Kyrie on Kawhi. Hit his arm. The and 1 free throw would have made it two instead of three, a big difference so late.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Mike Conley what an underrated player. 36 yo, 17th season, 32 minutes and 18 points tonight. Great pickup by Minny a year ago.

Yeah I forever will be sad we were unable to. Its to bad Barnes skill set is about as bad of a fit with Siakam as you can imagine.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Even though I agreed with the Siakam trade, I am kind of glad the media is out for blood now. Bobby and Masai have been living on Easy Street as far as media coverage is concerned. I still need to see them be like this in person though, where they usually chicken out. Cranking up the heat might do them a little good.

Besides, it was Masai himself who said we need to raise our standards.

Josh is another idiot covering the Raptors.

Imagine a guy who covers an NBA team not understanding the consequences of giving a really good player, but not great, a max contract at 30 years.

Siakam would be putting up zero points for us in these playoffs, lol. We he was with us we couldn't make the playoffs, because we were poorly put together and there was no path forward with him as a 1st option. There was no point keeping him. He wasn't putting in the effort half the time. We were never going to pay him that next contract. He had to go because of circumstances. What a pointless mess it would have been to keep him. We kept him too long, to the point where he looked like he could not lift even a mediocre team. I still think that's the case. Indiana will win nothing on account of having him. They've put a higher ceiling on their chances at winning a playoff round. We used to make those kind of deals. Happy to we went the way of the complete tear down. Nothing was happening with the core we had. and there were no assets to get help. The asinine notion that we can just keep guys for reasons of denying them better opportunities elsewhere is foolish. Indian is at a point in the cycle where they were positioned to acquire him. They deserved to get him on account of doing things well as a franchise. When you suck as a franchise you have to dump your assets.

I still can't believe that supposed "top" Toronto Raptors reporters can't figure why a rebuilding team would trade a player looking for a 1/4 billion dollar contract that starts in his 30s. You can argue that maybe they left an extra prospect or pick on the table by waiting, but the reasons for trading him are so blatantly obvious to anyone who even casually follows the NBA.

Brown/Nwara/3 first round picks will NEVER be 'the worst trade in nba history' or even the worst trade in raptor history. I mean....it's not even close.

Considering how much of a homer he was, Josh Lewenberg must be a mouth piece for the owners

Masai is on the clock.

Both Rogers (Grange) and Bell (Lewenberg) making sure they have justification and fan support to not re-up Masai in 2026.

I believe this is why the tone change from the beat hacks, and this should be clearly obvious it is my own speculation

With that said Masai does deserve criticism and is hopefully feeling the pressure to do better.

But at $15m per year, those calling for his firing are wasting their breath. No way MLSE fires him with at least $30m owed between now and end of 2026.
