Wiretap - hawks shamed

Post#1 » by theonlyeastcoastrapsfan » Tue Jan 27, 2009 4:09 pm

Hawks go scoelress for over a quarter last night

wiretap - http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/56843/20090127/hawks_go_more_than_quarter_without_a_basket/

Now I still think they are a good team, but wow. Sometimes it's your night, and sometimes......well, it's not. Of course the crack scorekeepers may have missed a few baskets.

It could be worst, you know, like betting on them to cover. :(
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Well that would explain why my fantasy team looked so weak yesterday . . Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby . . . Bibby had a brutal game - 2 pts, 0 assists, 5 TO's, -18.... puke

Maybe this will kill their confidence so we can overtake them in the standings now.

Have you looked at where they are, and where we are in the standings? Although, secretly, I think it's very possible myself, but I'm a homer.

The Raps actually have the record for holding a team to only 2 points in a quarter. It was about 5-6 years ago if I remember and I think it was Golden State in the 4th.
