How to improve?

Post#1 » by GoodTrade » Thu Feb 5, 2009 8:59 pm

The only way to improve is to trade our most valuable asset in Chris Bosh if we want to get better in the long term. We have so many glaring holes that need to be filled on the roster and trading Bosh for some young soon to be emerging stars is the best way to go. I propose we make the following trade happen to greatly improve our 2,3&5 spots for today and the future. All of the following players involved in the trade have very favourable contracts and would be long term solutions in building a contender.

TRADE

Chris Bosh
for
Andre Iguodala+Thaddeus Young+ Mareese Speights

Nice, they give up a player they just signed long term, plus two very promising young players.
Now they have two PF's??

Why the hell would they do that?

Bosh could play the 5 with Brand at the 4. The trade could also include a 3 way deal where Brand is shipped out for a Miller+Salmons package to Philly. There is lots of incentive for both partys to make this deal happen.

Yeah, Kings want an Elton Brand that's done for the year. Makes so much sense!

You honestly think Bosh could defend against most 5's in the league?
