Calderon, Geezy expected back tomorrow; Bosh is day-to-day

Post#1 » by Rhettmatic » Tue Feb 17, 2009 9:56 pm

I was hoping we'd get to see the new band altogether, but I doubt Bosh plays.

Chris Bosh remains day-to-day with his sore knee while Joey Graham and Jose Calderon are both expected to be in the lineup Wednesday night.

This will be the 4th year in a row that Bosh has not played more than 70 games. That's not good.

I could see Bosh coming out for a game or 2 after Cleveland, and then returning to his cave. Just to get his feet wet and judge what kind of performance the team can put up without Jermaine/Moon and addition of Marion/Banks.

If the Raptors have any hope of making the playoffs. Bosh needs to get healthy fast.
Prediction
Spurs in 7. Parker MVP. Lebron 6-17fg, 18pt, 8reb, 5 asst in game 7 LOSS.

He's missed 4 of 55 games so far.. it's too early to turn day-to-day into him missing an additional 8.

Well the slim hopes of the playoffs are hindered on a healthy CB surrounded by more complimentary parts....

What will we look like with no CB or JO.......but a Matrix?

We're going to have to have spread out offense which has always succeeded for us. We usually play better team ball without CB or JO but you need them to run offense through every now and then.

Bosh's injury somewhat explains why he lost that explosiveness he had at the start of the season. I would rather have him not come back soon. We lose more games and guarantee a high draft, and we get Bosh playing like was to begin the season.

hes not out of the question i think they will determine it tomorrow. Someone said during the presser after practice which was going to be late because of a team meeting they will decide if bosh will play. Even if he doesnt i feel an upset

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Sasha out for Cleveland, and Ben Wallace questionable after taking 14 stitches for basically crashing through glass playing football on Sunday.

Maybe Bosh isn't playing because of a possible trade? When do the Suns play next? Might be interesting if Amare all of a sudden has a sore hammy and sits out.

CB always gets pwned by Bron. Let's try and win without him.

Marion is actually quite effective at the 4. He has enough strength and athleticism to defend the position, and his speed and hops give him an advantage on the offensive end.

Joey becomes the primary post player and you keep Bargs out on the perimeter which gives Marion all kinds of room to crash the glass, make cuts, and get putbacks.

I certainly hope they Amare and Barbosa for Parker and Bosh or Parker, Graham, Solomon for Nash/J. Rich.
