He's an incredible two-way player. He's a supremely crafty pass-first point guard that can drive at will, has great length, and above all has an unbelievable basketball IQ.

He was signed at age 14 to play in a league more talented than the NCAA.

That's what's so special.

He's overrated to a certain degree because he does things that aren't expected at his age. . So really, we're banking on his potential. Whether that potential comes to fruition down the road in the NBA , who knows.

Great length and court vision. Great IQ. Great anticipation. Great floor general who makes things happen. Not too fast or athletic. Shooting is mediocre. That's what he is right now.

Me is smart.

Glad to see it takes him where he should've gone in the first place.

This guy has everything you need. Passing ability beyond his years, the ability to run a professional offense, flash, confidence, unlimited potential, etc. He also seems like a great personality but slightly underrated coming out like a Chris Paul. Not to say Chris Paul was slept on but I don't think anyone knew he'd be this good or else he would've been the unquestionable 1st overall pick, and I think Rubio will be the same. If we drafted him I'd be unbelievably happy. Bryan, you've developed the reputation of going after International players. Well, make sure you get this one!

By the way, he also almost led a team of average players, mid-level NBA ballers, and one NBA All-Star to a near upset over a team full of NBA all-stars in the Gold Medal Game. This guy could be the next great point guard in the NBA.

Hadn't watched much tape of him until now. Wow...this kid can pass....

We definitely need someone like this on the team. It would instantly improve the team dramatically. Problem is, our players are so used to receiving easy & safe passes, it would take a while for them to be ready for crafty passes like these. Even with the increase in fast breaks currently, you can tell that guys just aren't ready to catch risky passes. There was some severe butterfingers going on out there today....

Count me on board of the Rubio bandwagon!
